>started lifting about 9 months ago, started out weak as fuck and 120kg at 182cm.
>over six months I dropped down to 105kg and got my lifts up to 1/2/3/4.
>3 months ago I ran out of money for the gym and food so I decided to start my cut.
>dropped down to 90kg, probably going to make it to 85kg by the end of the month.
>I'll also have money for the gym by next month

My questions are:
How should I ease back into lifting? Redo GSPL for a while? Start straight out with an intermediate programme?
Is it feasible to maintain a 500kcal deficit while lifting like I did when I was obese? Or should I go straight to maintenance? A surplus?
I tried benching at a friends house yesterday and managed to 1RM 80kg, how terribly did I fuck up if my bench went down 20kg in just 3 months?

Tfw no fatloss.

Have read the sticky, used to be really fat when i was 15-16. Joined millitayr program and read up on lifting and cals counting etc and stuff and got swole af and shredded.

Now i'm 21 and I can't seem to lose weight. I do IF, I cut out all bullshit food for a long while now (3-4 months) and I lift 4-5x a week.

My diet is protein and fat heavy and not so much carbs. Always lean chicken breast and some kind of chilli spices and powder ( love spicy) and maybe sometimes a wrap to put my chicken in.

I take vits and zinc, fish oil every day. Still no results

Sorry for the fucked up thread btw i'm typing this on my phone. I am not a retard that doesn't know how to count his cals and i'm pretty sure i don't go overboard my cal goals.
I aim for 1800 cals with 30F/20C/50P as goal

My stats are 6ft 100KG. I dropped from 104-100KG since i begun (2 months) but i think it's waterweight too

What to fucking do man i'm really hopeless.

We're you benching in the smith machine? Dude that's nothing. Lots of people do that when they don't have a spot and want to go heavy. But you should bench with normal benches to work on stabilizers.

Will lifting with a lot of volume and isolation exercises and eating at a maintenance with a lot of protein give me gains in muscle mass and size while sticking with the bf% i have now?

Hey fit fags. Thanks for all the help over the weekend, i spammed a few threads trying to get as much info as possible. I ended up going with Starting Strength.

Here's my first days lifts if i could get a critique please

Squat - 60kg 130lb (felt like right starting amount)
Bench - 45kg 100lb (might up to 50)
Dead - 90kg 200lb (was pretty hard might drop half a plate)

On wed I'll be testing ohp to get a starting weight for that.

I spent the summer losing fat. I'm a lean 181cm 71kg / 5'11" 156lb going to lean bulk on SS, get strength up until stalling then move on to some sort of ppl or i don't know yet.

Anyway, thanks for the helpful advice, i was pretty anxious all weekend not knowing if i choose the right way to go. I wasn't in the gym long at all. But I'm sure once the weight goes up I'll be resting longer, plus in a few weeks I'll add a couple assistance like the book says.

Looks OK...the weights aren't 'heavy' per se but there is always the risk of injury with SS if you have poor form. I would strongly recommend you get just a handful of sessions with an exercise physiologist who weight trains to get your form 100%. It MAY be that you can't perceive that you lack the mobility to hit the compounds with neutral spine. If you won't do that, just slow and steady, make sure that form is right filming yourself, checking youtube tuts etc.

He was a boxer and sprinter in his youth, did hard manual labour since age 13, was in SF, a drill instructor and spent 3 years on the front - but I think he never lifted weights in his life.
