Does anyone else feel uneasy about increasing their calories? I was cutting from November to December, and then Christmas came around and I decided to cut through January, too. But now that I'm about 10 pounds lighter, I'm thinking I might have to increase my calories a bit, but I recently hurt my foot and don't want to be consuming more than what's necessary.
I might sound like I have an eating disorder, but does anyone else struggle with this?

I'm cutting hard (want to finally leave fatty mode half way out) so I only train twice a week. Overtraining isn't an issue atm.
I did bodybuilding for 3 years, then 2 years of power-lifting.
Despite getting much stronger, I lost about 20% of my physique gains (and a few KG of muscle) in the last 2 years, more so in other areas like delts, arms and calves.
Now I'm back to bodybuilding bro-style training for the last few weeks and my size is already starting to come back, and I'm getting leaner again.

The trick is that you do a BBing split, but with heavy, main compounds. So the only thing you would change would be the weight and rep range for the big lifts. Deadlift, Squat, Bench and OHP.

You still stick to the high volume approach, but with the Bench lets say, instead of doing 4 sets 12 reps you do 5 sets 5 reps w/ a heavier weight. But you stick to the high volume for the rest of the workout. So flyes would still be 4x12, dumbbell press would still be 4x12 etc.

The Apple Watch 2 lists "active calories" as a separate metric, which I interpret as "calories burned beyond your basal rate", and therefore the number it gives I take to be "extra" calories added on to the total I can consume that day. Is that correct?
I ask in part because the watch interacts with My Fitness Pal and feeds the activity data into it, but MFP only accepts calories specifically logged as an exercise; i.e. if I run for an hour and burn 1000 calories and log it, and in the rest of the day burn an extra 500 and don't log it, MFP only records the 1000 from the run.
