I'm quitting soda once and for all. I did it once for like 6 months and was really healthy.
Unfortunately I picked it back up again badly and it's really hard to quit. What are some healthy and good alternative choices?
I don't like tea, and some people have said to stay away from juice because it's just as bad?

How about you post the article since it's behind a paywall?

Anyway, based on the small snippet I can tell you that increasing exercise isn't the easiest/best way to create a calorie deficit - diet restriction is the way to go.

>>40345665
Yes. Just add accessories and practice good eating habits.
>>
It's good for strength. If you want aesthetics do a bodysplit that works each muscle 2 times a week minimum and still gain strenght (maybe at a lower speed than with SS) in your main lifts by doing them in the beggining of each workout, 3x5 is a good idea for your mains. The rest, do bodybuilding stuff. And don't stress about it, if you're a beginner you WILL make gains if you eat right, on any bodybuilding routine.

Natty: yes
Testosterone: 587
For some reason the dumbass doctor didn't ask for free test

What can I do to make my back healthy ? I can't think of a single thing

The objective isn't to gain muscle and show off or any of that shit, I've just had my back twisted and bent all my life because I'm autistic I guess, and now I want to make it better. All I want is to develop them muscles and have a straight back. Any recommendations ?
For now I'm doing abs and plank, not sure if it's enough. Also I sometimes do that thing when you stretch out your arms to form a cross, and quickly move them in small circles. Feels like it's good exercise for the shoulders

I fucked up and initially posted this on /tv/ and got the following tips:
>deadlifts
>planks
>bridging
>good mornings
>back crunches
>weighted shrugs

Can I drop abs already, or are they still necessary ? Also swimming > climbing ?

What does "twisted and bent" mean? Do you have an actual deformity or do you just have bad posture? The answer will be very different depending on which it is. If you're not sure, you should probably see a doctor, physical therapist or chiropractor before asking people on the internet.

>>
>>40345354
I mean a greater percentage of it will be wasted compared to say a meal of only 50g protein, but the difference isn't worth worrying about. Your stomach and small intestine have receptors and shit that detect the presence of amino acids and will delay gastric emptying and motility as long as possible to try and soak up as much nutrients as it can. It can take up to 5 hours for such a meal to clear the small intestine. The shitty studies people use to arrive at a magical max proton number are based on some weakly-correlated downstream indicators like nitrogen content of blood or piss or whatever.

Very useful, no reason to rush in and buy them all at once but slowly collecting some is useful. Using banded resistance is fun every once in a while and pull apart are awesome for shoulder health

OPM is what inspired me to get fit. Had no idea what to do so I followed Saitama's routine but did 1 mile instead of 10km. Lost a lot of weight but muscle gain pretty much stops after a couple weeks. It also gets extremely tedious to do this shit once you start adding on to it.
>>
>>40345227
well pushups helps core, upper body, back and shoulder
Especially if you do different styles of pushups.

Situps and crunches are classic core workouts if you activate the core properly.

squats is a given

running is good endurance.

So....yeah, why not?

But the subversion from the simplicity is whats amazingly funny.

Fucking faggots I make a serious thread asking some question about vegetarian/vegan diets and I get called out by some virgins for "baiting"

Have any of you switched to vegetarian/vegan while going to the gym ? Did it help you ?

I've read vegan men are healthier and get better results. Ive also saw some scientific paper saying vegans had more testosterone than vegetarians/omnivores but dunno if thats right.

>I've read vegan men are healthier and get better results
Compared to whom and results in what? If the health comparison is between vegans and those on the standard American diet, no shit because that's a low fucking standard in the first place. "Results" is vague and can mean almost anything in regards to fitness.

>Ive also saw some scientific paper saying vegans had more testosterone than vegetarians/omnivores but dunno if thats right
There's a study from 2000 that claims that vegans had a 13% (or some such number) higher amount of test than meat eaters, however people saying that didn't read the study properly. The study itself says there was no significant different in free testosterone levels (the form of test that is actually important) between the diet groups.
