Unless they're absolute fucking whales you should be able to squat any girl for at least 10 reps. 2.5pl8 1rm and I can rep 80kg for at least 10 reps.

OP here. I was at 20+% bf back in july. Been working out consistently since then. But im still so far away. I want to get to 12%bf. I am at about 17%now.
Ive heard that it only gets more difficult from here.
Also been on a slow cut so i didnt lose much muscle. Infact i made some strength if not size gains.

How do you know when to stop /fit/?

I'm still new, but most workouts iv tried just say start by doing as many as you can until you can't do any more. Then stop and rest, and that's one set. Now do 3 more.
So I push myself as hard as I can til I can't do any more. Rest and repeat.
And then the next 4-8 days I have extreme pain in my arm because I pulled something and can hardly lift a pencil now.

Tried to continue working out through the pain but all my strength in the arm is just gone.

How are you suppose to tell when to stop?

How can I convince my underweight gf to gain weight? I tried to tell her about the various health risks of being underweight, but she said that those actually just come from vitamin deficiencies, which she doesn't have.

Oh, and I actually don't really care about her health, I just want her to get a bigger butt. She gained a few pounds in the past and it went all to her ass, but now it's all gone again. For reference, she's 5'3", 94 lb.

So I've decided that I want to take steroids (tren) , but I have no idea how to get them. I'm 18 and go to a pretty normie franchise gym (Pure gym) and I'm not sure what to do. I've seen sites selling them online, but I'm not sure if they're actually legitimate considering steroids are illegal here.

Is it possible to train for strength and hypertrophy or is it retarded?
I've done SS in the past for about 6 months, and while I made good strength gains, I made almost no aesthetic gains over the entire period.
Now I've started lifting again and want to train mainly for aesthetics so I'm on a bro split (chest/tris, back/biceps, legs/shoulders), where I do mostly 3x8 accessory lifts but have one or two compound lift of 3x5 per session.
Is this retarded? Should I just be doing 3x8 for hypertrophy on my compound lifts too?

I did the same thing with 5x5 for bench, bb row, ohp, and squat, respectively on chest, back, shoulder and leg day. Just a few weeks ago i add romanian dl on back. But i only have been lifting for 3 months, after more than 1 year off. Previously i did around 9 months of hyperthrophy lift.
So i cant really say if it will work, but im still doing ok now except today when i decide to do squat after bench. Shit fucked up my routine desu

Anyone here ever struggled with social anxiety?

If so, has lifting helped you? Has it helped your self-image? Has it improved that feeling of "me against the world", or at least given you enough confidence to tell yourself "they're wrong" when you're not accepted in a given environment?

My problem is, from the moment I step outside my house it's like a war of attrition between me and everyone else. From hostile stares in public to passive aggressive shit at work/uni, I feel like I'm constantly a target. There are probably many reasons for this, I know a few (shyness, poor social skills, low self-confidence), and I was wondering if stick arms are among them.

But as far as your post, OP....no. It hasn't helped my social anxiety. I still have anxiety. The thing you'll find about weightlifting is that even though you will get tons stronger(even natty) and will look much better(even natty), it is no fix for the deep-seated emotional issues that you have. It can HELP, but it won't make them go away. It's not a magic bullet.

For example, I've always had crippling depression. Weightlifting has taken away that component, but I still get nervous in social interactions.

Know this feel bro. Seems like everyone hates you no matter what you do. You have to understand that life sucks for a lot of people and most people will display that in passive aggressive rage because it isn't socially acceptable to fully be an asshole to someone, even though they want to.

LEARN TO SHRUGG IT OFF. People will respect you for that, and you'll attract other cool people who do the same.

But it does suck though cause a lot of times life feels like that series everyone hates chris.
