If you're benching 100kg and by the end of the month of doing a certain chest workout you can bench 105kg, then your workout is effective.

i was on it for about a year to see what the fuss was about plus i needed to lose a lot of weight. also did a lot of HIT and cardio when i was on it.

>felt like i had way more energy than usual
>my strength didn't tank and i actually felt stronger when i exercised in the morning fasted but i didn't lift at the time and only did bodyweight (some people said their strength did take a hit so YMMV)

Why is it still not okay to admit you're fat over the internet when something like 1/3 Americans is obese? If I were a smoker, no one would give a fuck, especially if I told them I was trying to quit, for the 5th time. It's not like being gay or black or whatever. First fit post, background: 23 lost 40 pounds after college, was into weight lifting but pretty poor diet.. 6'1 185 been working hard for about 9 months.. 4x per week 15 min cardio 45 minute lifting eating mostly clean protein and vegetables, following 1g protein per pound body weight... thought I would have seen more definition by now am I missing something or just keep going
