I'm 6'' and I am 169lbs, that may be around the idea weight but I look pretty fat. Is cardio the way to go for losing weight? What should I be eating? How much water should I have daily?

is SS simply better? does it matter for a total beginner in the first few weeks? I just need to know if I'm wasting my time on memes.

Do SS with additionally 2-3 sets of arm isolation per workout and you have the redpill of beginner programs.

stronglift is more of a bodybuilding program and if u were leaning more to bodybuilding jason blahas 5x5 is way better, its basically stronglift with accessories.
if u want general strength go for alphadestinys novice program, some exercises are unconventional but they all overlap and increase your squat bench and deadlift and it makes u have no lagging muscles.
for just powerlifting go with starting strength or greyskull LP until u tap out ur linear gains then move into madcows 5x5 or texas method both are really good.
