Are the 4 Big Lifts a meme? Seems like their prominence is pretty much arbitrary. Asking because I love DLs and OHP but don't care much for Memesquats and Flat Bench. Will it actually affect my gainz if I substitute them for variations/alternatives I enjoy? I don't really give a fuck how much I lift as long as it goes up, and I also don't intend on comparing my lifts with you fags, if that helps.

Bench and squats are way more important than DL or OHP.
Nothing can replace squats unless you want to do an extra 2-3 accessories.

I honestly can't stand back squats at this point. I actually kind on like the feeling but my autism has ruined them for me. Every time I get in the cage I think "this is reddit, this is memes". Squats are a fad at this point. They're literally Cosmopolitan-the exercise. Literal instagram tier millenialness. They're the /fit/ness equivalent of Starbucks. All those "squats make you awesome xDD" and "real manlybaconbeard men squat" memes are fucking killing me inside. I need to find a new lift. Looking into hack squats or rear foot elevated split atm. I just wanted normies to stay where they belong.

How do the likes of people like Calum Von Moger eat so much shit and still stay like 10% body fat max? I saw a video of him working out and drinking a tub of ice cream

obviously they have the help of steroids and other compounds but how does it work exactly?

I'm natty and training my ass off 6 or 7 times a week with 5 sessions of intense cardio (enough to get me sweating pints) and i reduced all my calories so i'm in deficit.

Never touch chocolate or ice cream or any of that shit.
I also cut my carbs down slowly in a taper so that i eat maybe 100g of carbs a day.

I am SLOWLY losing body fat. But i just don't know if i can get that low naturally?

If you're fat, and have been since childhood, what's the point to trying to lower your bodyfat percent?

Your adipocyte count will remain the same throughout your life from adulthood onwards (Spalding et al, "Dynamics of fat cell turnover in humans", Nature, 2008), so you can only shrink your fat cells, they'll always be there, which means the leptin resistance from increased numbers of fat cells will always be present (Myers et al, "Obesity and Leptin Resistance: Distinguishing Cause from Effect", Trends in Endocrinology and Metabolism, 2010) so your appetite regulation will never be normal.

So basically you have a choice between feeling like shit eternally because every fibre of your being will be screaming at you to get the fat back you took away from your body, or looking like shit but feeling not awful. Why bother trying? Nobody has the willpower to keep it up forever and not lead a miserable life.

How do you even get to that point where you think suicide is the only option? If you're at that state where you consider killing yourself why wouldn't you go to the doctor to get SSRI's or something to at least help you out with the brain chemistry that most likely is out of wack or is their something more I'm missing?

All I want to do everyday is play games and watch twitch and youtube. I know I'm a lazy fuck, but it's hard pulling myself away from the computer.

bench has been overwhelmingly meh
deadlifts have been solid though, hit a juicy PR and broke the 600lb barrier today so that's cool

I believe a lot of big corporations (couldn't say which off the top of my head) lobbied to have their junk foods be food stamp eligible. Back when food stamps were a state level thing, the rules were stricter, and only a few states let poor fags get soda and chips on food stamps. When it became a federal thing, the federal guidelines were set inline with the least restrictive states.

I fucked up /fit/, I was resting between sets on my phone, I usually listen to Civ Music + Classical music.
