Whats the best way to stop feeling so sore after a workout and how do you recover faster?

I've finally got the motivation to go to the gym regularly but my body is so sore after a workout that it takes me 3 or 4 days to fully recover. I usually push through the pain barrier but I feel like its affecting my workouts because I can't do everything I want to do in the gym.

I'm fine with feeling sore, I just wish it didn't take me so long to recover from it

Best I can do is about 60 hours.

Just keep trying to go longer each time. This may sound weird but I record the time when I fap and then try to last at least 24 hours until I do it again. I just looked and it's actually been exactly 24 hours since my last one. I'll likely try to wait until about this time tomorrow to do it again, but even if I break it tonight I'll have at least gone a whole day. Just take small steps.

It's not necessarily about doing No Fap for me at least. I just find that when I fap too often it eventually doesn't feel that great. Also I do it (space out my jerk sessions) to just see how much willpower I've got.

I recently added chin ups to my sl workout. They want me to get to 3x10. They are added on to OHP day.

The best I've managed is 5,4,4. But I can't seem to get any better. I seem to have stalled around these numbers. Even with 5 min breaks between sets.

What can I do to smash through this ceiling?

If your gym has an assisted chin up machine, use that. Wide grip and a steady progression got me from not being able to do 1 half-assed pullup to the point that I can do around 10 dead hanging pullups with no kip.

I just had my first protein shake made with a blender and it's pure pleasure compared with the lumpy shit you get with a shaker bottle

Optimum nutrition's the nicest I've tried. The powder seems a lot finer compared to some of the others.

I don't want my protein shake to be delicious, I just want it to be drinkable. Some of the flavours from MyProtein and ProteinWorks had a bad aftertaste.

Hey anons, I need some advice. I'm 5' 10, and I weight 110lbs. First of course I need to get some extra pounds. I want to stop being a weakling, /fit/. Some help? Nutrition plans/ Exercise plans? Sup /fit/ so my gf broke up with me and I've been devastated a mix of sadness and anger. But I've decided to turn my life around to prove the cunt wrong I'm not worried about commitment to this because I'll just use my spite to fuel it but the problem is that I'm the heaviest I've been all my life (21 6'2" 265lbs) and I haven't touched a piece of exercise equipment nor dieted since highschool.

My question is what are some good body weight exercises to get started (I'm getting a gym membership soon but I have to decide whether I want to use the local anytime fitness, YMCA or travel about 30 minutes to go to an actual gym). As well as some good cheap meals/recipes that I can prep at the start of the week.

Also what are your guys thoughts on Grey Skull as a beginner routine?

Diet is 90% of losing weight but no reason you can't build a little muscle whilst dieting so do SL whilst eating right.

A good first step is cut out fizzy drinks and bread

Cook as much as you can in one go.
Box it up with a small helping of rice, and as much veg as you want.
You can generally make 5-10 meals in one go depending on the size of your oven.
Add mustard or other low calorie things for flavor if you need it.
Diet is the cornerstone of losing weight, you can't do it unless your diet is suitable.
Honestly, meal prepping is the one biggest thing that helped me stop being fat because if I have a meal in front of me, it stops me buying easy shit from a shop.

Greyskull is a good routine.

Personally I think the best idea is strict form for your prescribed reps followed by momentum to get as many more as possible.

As for the woman in your gif, she clearly uses steroids so don't take notice of what she does.
