Need some help on my routine and possibly diet.
With my current schedule I get about 45-60 minutes in the gym everyday but am not sure if my routine is effective.
I began working out between uni semesters when I visited my parents. I've stuck with the routine my dad liked to do (physical therapist so I trusted him). I currently don't have a gym partner/ spotter
What we do is a rotation of Arms, Chest + Back, and Shoulders. Everyday we mix in legs and abs.
The routine I do is 3 stations and 3 sets each and I usually do 4-6 of these depending on how much time/ how tired I am.
For example I will do barbell curls, tricep rope pull-downs, and a leg or ab workout. This is repeated 3 times. Then I mix up the stations and do 4-6 of these
I am also vegetarian based on doctors recommendation but I consume a lot of nuts, seeds, cheese, and 2 scoops of EAS and that is how I get my protein.

We all know spot reduction is a myth, but what about spot accumulation? I've always had trouble sitting for more than five minutes before my legs start hurting, but always attributed that to not being able to find a suitable chair. However, after returning an $800 and asking a doctor about it, he said it's probably because I have very little fat on the back of my legs so I'm just sitting right on the muscle. I'm at 17% bf though, so >just bulk isn't a solution

Hey guys, my friend needs advice from all of you. He is stuck at around 240-252 lbs for about 6-8 months and he keeps stalemating at the weight above. Long story short, we both have been routinely going to the gym four days a week for the past year. We both have been doing the same regiment as each other. However, he has lost significantly less than me (I've lost 100 lbs or so compared to his 40 lbs.) Whenever I question him on his diet he tells me that he is only eating around 1700-1800 calories, but the reason he isn't losing weight is because he works graveyard shifts and takes two four hour naps a day. Any tips or advice that I can give to him from you guys?
