I've read the sticky, I've read a shit ton of articles on starting strength. I can't tell if it is actually good or not. Even though the sticky suggests is, /fit/ seems to think its a joke.

Is it worth doing for a few months, or will I turn into a fat person who can deadlift a pseudo-impressive weight?

I did it for a while just to get decently stronk. Then started doing other brosplit kinda crap. Who cares though. Just lift heavy and light weights. See what happens. Have your whole life

Hey /fit/, I know waist trimmers are a meme but hear me out-

I've been reading that the fat around your midsection is hard to lose /utilize due to poor blood circulation. If belt thing increased the blood flow to the area in combination with IF/Caloric deficit would it make sense that fat would more easily drain from that area? Furthermore would cravings be reduced since the stored energy is more easily drawn reserve?

Morning. I basically have boiled eggs, oatmeal a banana and orange juice.
Lunch I have a tuna sandwich, yogurt and a fruit or vegetable and green tea.
Dinner I try to have Beef, chicken or fish a side of pasta, a vegetable or a salad or baked potato with some milk.
I sometimes change up items but try to keep that as my base. I only eat that heavily on hard workdays. I have 2 glasses of water but I figure I get a decent amount from what I drink with meals.
Cheat day. I don't eat junk all day but I will have maybe a fast food meal or a big dessert. Mostly I'm drinking 2 cups of green tea a drink for a snack I like rice cakes with peanut butter and honey and baby carrots.

What's a bodyweight routine I can do at home and see any results with? I'm trying to do Stronglifts but I always either wake up too late to go to the gym or lose the motivation to leave the house. I have no problem motivating myself to actually lift the weight, it's the act of getting a ride and going to the gym 15 minutes after waking up that stops me. I've given up on bodyweight stuff because I don't see what the point is of it for someone like me who's skinnyfat but maybe since I'm lifting such low weight at the gym anyways lifting my own bodyweight will be beneficial. I'm 140 and 6'1 by the way, probably between 15-17% body fat

Please help me guys, I just want to be bigger and stronger but I won't be able to have weightlifting equipment like a squat rack and barbells at my house for at least 6 months

Ive been reading about it and it seems to be touted as superior to running both in terms of caloric burn and lessened impact on your joints but id like to get a second opinion.
