Newfag here. Deciding to start building muscle mass as I enter my second year of college. I'm also broke as fuck and living in a dorm, so no gyms or exercise equipment. All I have is a pair of 15lb weights and about 12 square feet of space.

I'm about 215lb and 5'10", with a 40" waistline and an endothermic bodytype.
I've always had good legs, and my arms have become decently sized because of work (nothing but scrubbing floors and lifting shit). The two things I need to work on are my pectorals and my abdomen, which are complete shit.

Are there any exercises that /fit/ can recommend with my limitations that will at least get me in shape? I have no need/don't have the resources to be ripped as of now.

TL;DR -- Help me get in shape with fuck all to work with

first off, does your uni have a gym you can use? check around, you might find one that you can use that's small. ask someone in your class if you know them to be involved in any sports clubs. there are some simple bodyweight exercises you can do to get a jump start, push ups, pull ups, sit ups, etc. these won't get you far but if you do them on a calorie deficit it's better than nothing.
you will not reach that goal body without doing some progressive weightlifting of some kind my kouhai. also

This thread is for former skellies (sub-120lbs before lifting) and current skellies.

What was your weight at your skelliest?
What's your weight now?
What's the diameter of your wrist? (will confirm if you have a small bone structure)
Do you feel like your gains ever hit a plateau? If so, at what point?

While "muh genetics" should NEVER be an excuse to not work out and improve yourself, genes to some degree do determine your gains. For example your bone structure does determine your muscular potential; also having smaller bones will mean you're a lot lighter than someone at the same height for the same amount of muscle.

I was 106lbs at my skelliest (5'10"), currently I'm 140lbs. I have 6" wrists exactly. After having put on 30+lbs I feel like my gains have slowed down to a crawl. It's nice though that due to the narrow span of my shoulders, I can wear a size S and look more fit (ottermode is fit by normie standards) in it than someone bigger and stronger than me who wears a size M or L that's a little too loose for them.

Lifting has completely changed my life though. When I started I was super shy and had no confidence, eye contact with girls was enough to get me sweating. Now, I'm super content with life, graduating uni with career goals, and have a perfect qt gf that I get to play vidya with every week.

There's no such thing as a "manlet". That's just a made up term for insecure guys intimidated by shorter stocky guys, its a way to try and find a way to degrade them. You're not going to find secure intelligent people using that term. I stuck up for smaller guys or perceived "weak" guys my whole life. The big bad bullys tend to be big pussys 9 out of 10 times. If you use manlet to describe someone you are either ignorant, insecure or both, its that simple.

I've been following the sticky, I started at 295lbs and I'm down to 280lbs. I feel stronger despite only lifting for 5 weeks. My goal is to reach ~190lbs which I think is appropriate for 6'2". Unsure about future strategy or otherwise. Any advice welcomed. For form I've been using Athlean X videos, for nutrition information I just keep to the sticky/scooby.

A pretty heavt 90 minute workout because I figured if I'm going to be in a caloric surplus for the first time in a month it might as well not go to waste. Heavy squats, deads, ohp, some core isolation work and weighted pull ups. On and I did some front squats and cleans while warming up.

And I'm going to eat a shitload of italian food in a few hours. Considering getting some mcdonalds atm
My goal has changed from strength to aesthetics in the past couple months, so I'm meant to be cutting rn. Believe it or not it's going well.

I disagree, my daily expenditure is ~2400cal so I'm running a 500cal deficit at 1900. What are come good reasons for cutting past the 500cal deficit if I'm also going to be doing weight training? I also attend spin classes twice a week 45 minutes and swim laps for 30 minutes two nights a week.
