I've never seen any posting about this before, so I thought I'd see what /fit has to say about "mini-cuts".

Basically, a mini-cut is when you go on a cut for a much shorter duration, like 2-3 weeks in order to lose some fat that you gain while lifting. I've encountered this several times, when you gain more fat than you had anticipated, and thus cut down for a few weeks to get things back into shape, and then go back to normal.

Say I started lifting at 90kg 6'3, and over 6 months I gained 10kg, of which 6kg was muscle (since in your first year you can expect to gain 12.5kg of lean muscle). Thus 4kg is fat which would be relatively easy to burn off by going on a mini-cut for a few weeks, maybe lose like 3kg in three weeks, it has happened before.

I'd like /fit's opinion on this, is it better to just bulk for 6 months, and then cut for 6 months, i.e long and long? Alternatively would it be better to try to keep your fat in check by doing a series of many smaller mini-cuts?

Also, a related question, the sticky says we can expect to gain about 12.5kg of lean muscle in our first year of lifting, is this if you did nothing but bulk or does it expect you to cut as well?

Any dietary advice for someone with type 1 diabeetus? Trying to find a diet that allows for high protein but is also low carb without too much fat is difficult.

Also worried about eating carbs pre workout, taking my bolus and then dropping too low in a work out.

Eat 3-4 Meals a day and dont snack in between.
Make sure you get 10-12 hours of fasting a day its good for insulin resistance.
Nothing wrong with eating fat it doesnt affect insulin at all. Try to consume more.
Also protein causes bloodsugar to raise (but not nearly as much as carbs) so i wouldnt eat too much of it either.

With the fat, I'm trying to cut my body fat % by 2-3% (it's been a while since I last had it checked, I believe I'm 15 or 16% right now). Eating more fats would hinder this, yes? Or no if I used them for energy before they become trigylcerides? (Triglycerides are 44 right now, I don't know if that's relevant. I had them done last time my a1c was checked, which was 4.9)

Dude, you can cut without avoiding fat. Avoiding fat in your diet is some 70s doctor advice who has no idea what he is talking about.
I'm not going to meme Keto here, but research it. Especially Keto and diabetes.

I do a routine that is basically SS + chin ups and dips. Squat light in the middle of the week though.
Cardio every day and a clean diet with lots of natural carbs.

I'm anorexic out of pure laziness.

Never developped an actual appetite, never did sports, dropped out of college and now 22, 5'10, 120lbs.

I don't eat much. I do strength training, but progress is slow to non existent.

Do you guys have pictures of males who made it out of legit auschwitz, and what their routines were?

Before anyone says, I'm quite aware it's possible, I've just never seen a progress thread with the case. And yes, I'm aware of Zyzz. But he tooks roids.

Ignore this retard. You need to be very disciplined, not just "eat when you're full". The whole point of hungry skeltals is their brains convince themselves that they've eaten tons of food, and they have no real concept of what "eating at a surplus" means.

What you REALLY have to do is keep a detailed food log for a week or so to get a baseline. Then add 300-500 calories (more if you want maximum gains and don't mind getting fat) per day, monitoring each day and adding food if you haven't hit your goal calories for that day. This is easy to do with high-calorie foods like nuts, or a simple gainer shake:

-1-2 cups of oats
-whole milk
-whatever else (peanut butter, protein powder, etc)

This can easily be 1000 calories downed in less than a minute.

Strength training in full range of motion will increase your flexibility for that particlulare movement.
But other than that its better to have a stretching routine.
Yoga is some random bullshit. Yes, if you did 3 years of yoga you may have gotten flexible, but you could get the same from 4 months of stretching.
