Post examples, elaborate on your training.

How much better is this than SS?
It'll work just about as well as SS would if you did weighted chinups every workout

What are the best episodes from that show and other similar ones? The latest one was top tier, but I tried watching the first couple episodes of the season and they weren't nearly as interesting.

I feel like my libido has all but vanished. I can sit around and jerk off if i'm bored, but in general I just never feel arousal anymore. No drive. Anyone ever dealt with this? Any suggestions on things to try or lifestyle changes to make?

I'm 32 and am going through the same thing. Yesterday I actually jacked off three times just to prove that I still can—mock me for it if you will—but in terms of actual spontaneous desire or thoughts throughout the day of sex, I just don't have that kind of libido anymore. As well, I just don't have the tremendous drive that I had in my 20s to work out, work on projects, leave the house in general, etc. I can't tell if this is lower testosterone or just depression.
Anyway, I just ordered a bottle of Maca from Amazon. I've heard it is a natural libido booster, energizer etc. but without the jittery effects of Yohimbe, which I've tried and didn't enjoy.
I might ask my doctor for a blood test the next time I go in for a check up.

How on earth was this man able to build a decent following on YouTube as a fitness expert?
>>40813439
He gave good albeit what now looks like simple old skool 1950s style advice for natties when others were roided up and advocating bb splits from magazines. He just happens to be an utter turd of a human being.

He plays to the fat guys lack of ability by making them feel acceptable. Fit version of HAES

Can anybody diagnose my complex injury?
Three years ago when deadlift in I got a pain in the side of my lower back/top of glute. It's not a pulled muscle, it's something deep inside that will give a shooting pain whenever I accidently agrivate it.
I desperately need the help because I haven't been able to work my lower body at all, and it doesn't seem like it's going to ever self heal.
Pinched sciatic nerve, probably slip a disc that is putting pressure on the nerve

Will low weight, high reps until fail build muscle?
I have injuries so I can't do high weight upper body exercises.
Not really.

I'm dealing with this right now. I accepted that I'm wasting away, it was depressing to look at my slim legs in the miror. decided to do cardio at home a little while ago, consisting of loads of body squats and lunges. Three weeks later and my jeans were tight, such a good feeling! Didn't think it was possible with high reps.
Maybe it only works for lower body, maybe I've just got good genetics. Can't give a solid answer.
What are the best leg exercises with a barebell or dumbbells that isn't a squat? The area around my right knee is close to turning into dust and i have to do something else or i risk getting crushed by the weights when i finally crumble down on a squat. Would Sumo Deadlifts be ok? Its not like i will be never squatting, just less times a week
>>40812428
Do the leg press and bodyweight squats.
Getting a new pr or showing that you can still SKWAT is not worth crippling yourself for life.
You don't exist to perform the exercise.
Exercise is there to help you become a better more fit healthier you.
>>40812428
All quad exercises include knee extension, so you are fucked.
If your knee is weak, its not failing a rep that will be the problem.
Or are you just a bitch and trying to avoid squatting?

If dubs, you don't post 'em.
What if instead of counting reps, you just go to the gym 3-4 times a week and work out until you are going to either puke or simply too exhausted to continue?
In theory isn't that more productive as you always max yourself out as much as possible?
Why measure your progress when you can just half ass it and assume you are going balls to wall instead of dying of fatique?
Gee, I dunno.
It is very easy for you to think you are tired before you actually are. Say I want to get 10 reps, if I stopped when it was tough i might only get 6-8, but instead I push myself to hit the goal of 10.
>>40812224
That works actually, but only as long as you have the correct amount of rest and amount of food after. Oh and you can only do something like that as a natural for 2-4 weeks at best.
After that you'll be outright fucked.
>I need to build up a strength base and gain unnecessary bodyfat before I can cut down in order to obtain a good physique.
ROFL. So fucking dumb. Can't believe all the nerds on the internet are tricked into doing this shit.
Enjoy your 20% bf chubby cheeks and 4 plate squats you fucking neckbeards.
>>40812223
I know right... it makes no sense physiologically. It's just and extra difficult step that can be avoided with a constant good diet.
Does anyone else put themselves into a witcher-like trance before they lift, and meditate after?
Post your body, OP.
I bet you look like shit.
Natty lifters only

And that covers it. Thank you, have a good night

Scooby's not natty and he's (accidentally) admitted it himself, though he still considers himself natty since he only pins to a "natty level" of testosterone.
Hey, /fit/, newcomer here. What's a good way to exercise your abdominals? Because sit-ups and planks aren't really doing it for me, they lack the quantifiable certainty that comes with increasing bench-weight that comes with increasing weight for the next session every time you've successfully done three sets of 15 with a given weight. In comparison... yeah, I could do more sit-ups, or I could do them faster in a set time-frame, but it never feels like I'm actually hitting and testing my limits like I am with a bench, you know? If I find my form lacking in doing curls, or find myself unable to get the bar off my chest without a spotter, I know it's because I've hit my limit, and once my muscles recover I'll be able to push that limit next session. I've never been able to get a similar experience with abdominal exercises, because they're almost exclusively endurance aerobics instead of strength training.
Any ideas on what I could do?
