I am a 6'2" 21 year old 250 lbs male and I am trying to get into shape. I have done this many times before but after about a few weeks(a month i always end up just not going. Can I get some decent advice for issues with diet/cost?
Was homeless for the past few weeks, recently got into some accommodation, I have enough cash for the next 5 weeks of rent, very little for food. I have a gym membership I used to shower and stuff, I want to get swole but not a priority.
To the point, at my peak my BMI was 33
After a few weeks of sleeping in my car I'm down to 28.
I bought a kilo of rolled oats, Greek yogurt and honey.
Is there anything cheaper than Oat, yogurt honey?
I have nothing else to eat atm, the supermarket opens in a few hours.
How can I measure if I'm eating too many calories worth of oats? I really don't want to get fat again although I have no phone, scales or anything to measure with.

I'm currently a total dyel (6 months into serious lifting) and people keep telling me to focus fully on lifting and less on cardio since I'm already thin and should focus all my energy on building muscles. However, I've been interested in learning some martial art for a while now, and my new gym allows me to do so. Should I join the class? Or should I postpone it for when I'm already better built? Does aerobic work really diminish your gains?

im stronger and it feels better to hook grip. mixed makes the bar drift and akward to pull on my mixed side
