hey /fit/,
I've been browsing this board for some time now and came to some realizations.
1. I need help reducing my body fat %. I'm currently 5'3 and weigh 148lbs :'{ Everyone where I live is fat and my friends are getting bigger too so they somehow convinced me that I was okay and just a little thicc. SO WRONG. I'm glad I got on here. My body fat % is 29 (grill) which is just at the cut off for being average. I want to get down to like 21-23% by the summer. Is this possibru? it doesn't have to be.
2. I want to start a keto diet because I've done it before and I think it'd be fun and have instantaneous results but I don't want to do it wrong.
3. I have no problem going to the gym 5-6 times a week because I get to look at beautiful people and I want to become one of them but my diet is godawful so this is more of dietetics advice. I lift weights for like 45mins and do cardio for 15mins (usually eliptical/treadmill) but starting tomorrow I will be doing the stairs for my last 5mins!!! (I promise!!!)
4. I am very good with following rules but not so much cold turkey.
5. how many grams of sugar and carbs is the maximum I should be taking in? I feel like this is my biggest issue.
6. Calorie deficit? I guestimated that I ate 1700 calories today but I feel like sometimes I eat 1800-1900.

You wouldn't call my gf fat if you'd saw her on the street. She's not muscular, more like skinny-fat, but it's not a problem for me if she's not fat.

The problem is that she only eats mcdonald and KFC or other junk foods. She never works out, she's just not into it. She also hates the taste of fruit and vegetables.

She's 19 and her metabolism is ok. I'm afraid though that her metabolism will slow down in time and she'll get fat.
