Just ordered some of this stuff, any /fit/izens here have experience with it? I'm a superautist with chad genetics, and from what I've read it sounds perfect for managing social anxiety. I'm fun with friends that know me, but shitty with people I don't know. I feel like I have resting asshole face, and since I'm not prosocial I come off as a douche or tool, when really I'm just shy. An anxiolytic that promotes prosocial behavior sounds perfect for learning to interact. The good reports sound a bit too good to be true, but I haven't seen any really negative experiences at reasonable doses.
I have an addictive personality though, so I'm worried it'll turn into a crutch rather than a learning experience.

It's a harder exercise with more form requirements
It's a very complicated, mobility and coordination intensive movement. Just keep the weight light and continue practicing, always working entirely on form. It's gonna be a while before your mobility and coordination are at a level where you can actually gain something from overhead squats.
They're super hard, don't give up. Snatch is the most fun movement there is. Stuff that helped me:
1) Shrug and press into the bar, don't relax your scaps.
2) Narrow your stance. This seems counter intuitive, but you wont be working against your hips and groin to get all the way down like you do with a super wide stance squat.
3) Eyes up, duh.

Without a video i can't say. The best general advice is to make sure your shoulder are mobile, as well as your lats. Look up some stretches for them.
There is one thing that i did once in a class. Take a snatch grip on the bar and pick it up to do a backsquat. When in the bottom of the squat just sit there with good posture, and press the bar overhead. It should move in a straight line from the back of your neck to lockout. Heck don't even do it with a barbell, use PVC pipe or a broom handle. Or maybe just see if you can do a behind the neck press. Being able to hold a plate overhead with pressing means you either are cheating on your press, or you have some mobility issues.

Hello fit, bit of a story but looking for help. Ive had what my doctor suspects to be tendonitis in my left elbow for 5 months. Im going insane not working out. whenever I do, my left forearm or brachioradiallus swells and i cant hold anything. Not due to pain but i just lose strength and lose rom in the arm. I've done weighted pullups for years and fear it was the cause of this. i only weigh 160 but would sometimes use a 45 pound plate.
I had some blood tests done because the ortho thought at my age (25) the amount of joint issues i had were uncommon. (cracking and achy wrists, tendonitis of my right knee, etc) The blood tests came back and i supposedly have a vitamind d level in my blood of 15 ng/ml. He said this is usually only seen in older women.
My question for you is if that could be the cause of this? Looking online it seems that a vitamin d deficiency would impede or prevent the absorbtion of calcium and would hinder the regeneration of muscles and tendons?
im really going insane guys. If anyone here has had tendonitis and can rec me any supplements or approaches to this i would be in your debt. Ive worked out for 10 years and basically have sat on my ass for close to half a year unable to do anything and am watching my body waste away.

i got a blood test for that and it was supposedly negative, but things like that are rarely 100% accurate. it would make sense if it ended up being the cause. i have a rheumatologist apointment tuesday.
i was given a vitamin d2 pill to take twice a week, at a dose of 50,000 ui, but have been reading it can take months to balance out and d2 is somehow a shitty form of d3.
