I use to doing clenches whenever but as it ends up you almost certainly will forget sometime
so I started getting into a routine of doing it in the metro while standing up
wasn't getting that much increase at all afterall, so I'm trying doing longer/harder presses up to 5 seconds before releasing it
after a week I could feel the muscle hurting, but the thing is, I know of no way to measuring your kegel strenght

I don't normally post but I wanted to share my exp for anons.
I experimented with fasting / IF almost 7 months. First I did 16/8 for 2 months and then I started doing warrior diet ( 20/4) for another 5 months.
The real challenge wasn't staying away from food or not eating. it was eating enough during your feeding window. Seriously if you want to gain weight IF is not the best idea, especially the extreme ones like 20/4.
What happened is that, at first I managed to get all those KCall in in those 4 hours but soon I starrted to dread. cause if you haven't eaten for 20 hours and then eat you can't eat as much. and you get lazy af.
I do think the fasting attributed to my younger looking skin.
so what happened is that I basically conditioned myself to not need as much food.
I do not do IF anymore but I can still easily go a day without food. Which is nice.
The downside is that I basically conditioned myself and I am just not hungry and eat smaller meals, still.
I wanted to gain weight on IF/Warrior Diet.
What happened instead is that I lost 10kg in 7 months. ( desu I also slacked workouts and shit but )

Anyway, I'm doing the 16/8 fasing schedule right now. Basically skip breakfast and eat a decent lunch and dinner. We'll see how it goes, on day five and it isn't that hard though my depression has already conditioned me to go long hours without food so I'm not expecting much trouble there.

I ran an 18:45 5k yesterday and then did a bit more afterwards. Clocked in at just over 20 miles in the end. Today I did a fast, hilly 5.65 miles along trails and public rights of way in the forest and fields.
Probably do and easy 3-4 miles tomorrow followed by 8-10 miles of speedwork on Tuesday. Then about 14 miles at my running club on Wednesday, another quickish 5-7 miles on Thursday and then 4-6 easy miles on Friday and Saturday ready for my 10k on Sunday. Then I may tag a bit extra on after my race.

How do we solve the obesity epidemic?
Is this a problem that we should handle on an individual scale, or as a community? (In-depth nutritional education during schooling and how to read and use nutritional labels, or restricting producers from adding more than a fixed amount of certain macronutrients per gram?)

I propose we tax obesity directly. For every percentage point of bf you have over the obesity limit you get a percentage of your income taxed. That money is then distributed to the fit portion of the population via stimulus checks.

I like this a lot
Obesity (and Diabetes, which are pretty much the same thing) are both cause by insulin resistance. Instead of giving these type 2 diabetics MORE insulin they should be fasting to reset their insulin levels while staying away from insulinogenic foods (that produce high insulin when eaten) and switching to fats and proteins. Literally just eat food as its found in nature and you'll be fine, also, fasting is a lost art and a missing link in the western diet.
Look into Dr. Fung if you're interested in this. He's going against the common belief of almost every health professional in his field.
