I was a reaaaaally heavy drinker back in college i was 50 kg on bodyweight, my drinking problem and partying was out of the room, so I started lifting and reducing the amount of alcohol consumed, reduce it slowly it is the best way, each time try try to drink a lil bit less than the last one perhaps a less shot, or a less bottle of beer, so today 5 tomorrow 4 do it constantly and it will pay off l, I was drinking like 2big bottles of vodka, one of jagermeister, one of absent and a little bit of rum and aguardiente, waking up like a mess in a day or two at the moment I weight 87 kg and don't consume alcohol at all, I go out with friends and party but just order food and water hahaha I Ben sober a long time, do it slowly I will pay off, there will be the time when you go out and feel like "eghh I don't want even one bottle" spend that money on food.

I knock back a litre a day, "organic responsibly-sourced" 3.8% goat milk 'cause it's a couple of bucks cheaper than cow milk of a similar caliber.
Besides cow, also tried sheep and water buffalo. Sheep has the best macros and I'd drink it all the time if it wasn't so expensive - I'll get that or cow if they're on sale.
The "organic" label doesn't mean much to me, 'cause I only buy from dairy farms that I've researched and can be confident the animals are treated with respect and live happily, which end up being organic or grass-fed, that good stuff.
I've tried milk from the cashew animal, the oat animal, the soy animal, and the coconut animal. Soy is the tastiest

If I can lift 500 pounds on the calf raise machine, does it mean my form is off? I haven't seen anyone else use it and go over 300 pounds. I only feel it in my calves. What is the relationship between DOMS and hypertrophy? As far as I understand, it's an indication that you caused muscle damage, and that means hypertrophy, but is it worth it to train for DOMS? I mean exaggerating essentrics, larger rep ranges, less rest, stuff like that. Should I be actively pursuing DOMS if my plan is to build muscle, or should I just try to increase weight within moderate rep ranges?

They are simply a sign that you are maybe doing something right and working your muscles. Thats it.
You should just do something that you can progress on and something thats sustainable in the long term and doesnt require you to deload every other week, because are too beat up
Doms are good to find out if your new workout routine has some new stuff in it that you have been lacking

The amount of DOMS you experience is 1:1 correlated to the amount of post workout protein you should eat in the next 48 hours (to a reasonable extent) and the amount of hypertrophy you can possibly experience, up to a certain level.
