Do you guys do any kind of physical activity outside of lifting?
I used to do some BJJ/Kickboxing when I was younger and I've really wanted to get back into a martial art I'm just never sure where to go. I also have a friend that does indoor rock climbing and I went with him once when he had a guest pass, seems like it'd be killer for forearms and your upper back.
I'd love to get back into martial arts but I live in the middle of nowhere and work the night shift.
God this sucks, working out is ok, but I feel it's a bit of a waste if I'm not doing any real sport/activity.

There's tons of martial arts gyms around me but the main problem I find is how fucking expensive it is. And also because there are so many I just worry whether anywhere I could go is actually legit. There's all these corner studio no name start ups and then there's stuff like UFC Gym and Millenia. It all feels like some kind of scam to me.
I'd love if there was just some old school trusted boxing gym run by a Clint Eastwood type or some old black guy you see in the movies.
Why is Starting Strength always recommended when people want Starting Aesthetics? Nobody cares about getting their numbers up.
Also, I'm a girl. How long would I have to do SS to be stronger than the average guy?

I diddy once every 4 days, squat once every 4 days, bench, ohp etc. I run a 4 day split with no break in between so I do everything almost twice a week, I am what this bord calls thicc. I diddy 545 for singles but this is whole coming back from a back injury, should be hitting 600+ pretty quick

Then recently I let my hair grow for the first time in years and I compared it to pics of me at age 14 and my hairline is identical, literally hasn't receded at all, it's just that I never really had a good hairline to begin with, hence why I started buzzing it.

Pic attached is me. I'm 5'3 and currently 134.8 pounds. According to my scale, my body fat percentage is 24%, and my TBW is 42.8%, which is low for women. I have a BMI of 23.88.
