Hey boyos, I'm 20 years old and am extremely bored of life. Nearly 3 years at the gym day in day out has started to really bore me and affect me motivation. I used to lift to get grills, once I've achieved that and now find it meh to fuck girls i have no motivation or purpose in life.
This has also happened to a lot of my hobbies such a music, fashion, 4chan, gaming etc etc. I just want to be addicted to a hobby or activity again so I can have a purpose in life. But when the core needs/hobbies of life (pussy, eating/cooking, school/work) get boring I really don't know what to do.

This is a gross oversimplification. There's a big difference in spinal compression values between a 50lb box that you might deal with at work and the heavy compressive loads needed to build strength and muscle mass at the gym. The former is perfectly safe for almost anyone the latter can only be safely progressed if genetics allows for it. Were you born with such a spine? Is it worth the risk? One little mistake is all it takes for a trip to snap city.

Never had spinal injuries or disc injuries of the like, I did however have issues with knees. I don't know much people who weightlift who had spinal issues or problems with it, seems like shoulder injuries are most common and after that knee injuries.

Texas Method is unironically fucking terrible for most lifters though, Rippetoe does not recommend it anymore, Andy Baker does not recommend it to most lifters (head of the SS forum programming section), and Jordan Feignenbaum (sp) who is Rippetoe's most successful offshoot and the only one who has trained any good lifters does not recommend it (instead he recommends HLM or The Bridge intermediate program)
If you made gains on TM that's great but you would have probably done better on higher volume programming with a more intelligent way of distributing the work
