Id consider myself an expert when it comes to personal trainers since ive done over 30 sessions with varying trainers and id say if youre motivated, dont do it. What they usually do is do some sort of circuit training where you go from one exercise for another, at least thats what it was in my case, with my goal being to lose fat. Then they might give you some mediocre workout plan. Which you can find much better ones on bodybuilding.com. The only reason i used so many trainers is because i had a hard time staying motivated to go to the gym but with a trainer i felt an obligation to go. Outside of that i see no benefits. A lot of the time it feels like i know more than the trainers do honestly. Everything you need to know is available to you online.

To elaborate:

>work only BIG compound lifts (squats, bench, deadlift)
>rest BIG (every time I'm not lifting, studying or working, I'm sleeping, no TV, no vidya games, no interwebs etc)
>dream BIG (always visualize BIG teddies of stacked honies I'm trying to get with in the future to keep myself motivated to eat BIG and lift BIG every day)

Day one of water fasting, anyone has any experiences they want to share?
How to prevent muscle loss?
im doing:
200 mg of modafinil ed (to supress hunger mostly, and to stay awake)
50 mg of oxy ed ( been on for 4 days, dunno thinking about going off again, been on a cycle not long ago, not sure if my hormones are stabilized yet)
Vitamins and 800 mg caffeine (have a high tolerance)
Have you had any good results?
How many days of water fasting did you do?
im thinking about doing 3-4 days.. Quite easy with a hunger supressant.

I eat 1 apple in the morning, 1 banana before workout and 1 banana after workout.
The sugars are natural and not harmful in such small quantities.
However, I think bananas are giving me digestion problems.

I dunno, I think it attracts unaware losers.

All of my ex-WoW buddies all quit WoW and started powerlifting. They all hate on people who train for looks/aesthetics and constantly shit talk people who do bro-splits.

Not saying I'm not a loser for being a long-time WoW fag, but I am at least aware of my autism and try to stick to more normalfag things like looking good and training for aesthetics. Meanwhile these unaware autists obsess of the big 3 and make fun other people at the gym while being 20% bodyfat+ and taking 10 minute rests between each set.

Powerlifting is one of the easiest ways for unaesthetic fat fucks to do lifting and feel okay about it. So it's got a lot of fatties that feel the need to constantly validate it as a sport by dragging other weightlifting ideals down.

Alright /fit/, I need help. I need advice so hopefully this is that one off chance here that I don't het togtfo straight away.

Here's the story:

>19, female, absolute fat fuck.
>92kg and only 158cm tall
>have had a battle with depression and self esteem my whole life and had been diagnosed with boderline personality disorder at a young age.
>have tried going to the gym but get terrified of people watching me because I'm so fat. Have panic attacks cause I'm a fucking loser.
>tried weight loss shakes and diet pills.
>this has been going on for too long
>all of a sudden i meet 10/10 guy who is very fit, romantic, good looking,loves hiking and is into anime, gaming and shit
>every time I'm with him I just get more and more ashamed of how big i am and how lazy myself and my depression has made me.
>it's getting to the point where I'm pushing him away and I feel like there's no escape.

/fit/ what keeps you motivated, what are good dietary habits, what exercise should i be doing daily? Literally anything that helps because i know i need to turn my life around and make myself better.

But seriously look up couch to 5k and beginner's programs like that. Once you start to get some momentum going with running (will take 3-4 weeks), it will make getting into more complicated stuff much easier.

His videos on biomechanics are based, ie when he explains conditions or when he explains how to adapt exercises. Have not seen any of his workout programs but seems to focus heavily on accessory exercises without focus on improving 1rm strength. I'd say his physique is obtainable natty, even in regards to the massive biceps and extreme vascularity
