I was wondering, just to motivate myself. How much weight can I expect to lose? I plan on taking it easy and I took off a full month for the hike, but I think getting under 220 lbs (100 kg) shouldn't be too hard right?

Then you eat 2000 calories, 1000 below your body's maintenance level, your body has to use 1000 calories worth of fat to keep running.
Slowly these numbers will drop, along with your weight.

Hey guys, I want your opinion on this.
After having gone to the gym off and on for quite a while, I decided to take fitness more seriously 7 months ago. My girlfriend wanted to come with me to get a better physique herself as well. I started with SS, and kinda liked it, because I did feel stronger. It was, however, impossible for my gf to do the same workout, because she had two spinal surgeries in the past. She did however want train with me, because she felt more comfortable that way. Recently, I asked a guy who works at my gym for some advice to design a new programme, and he came up with this:
A Back day
Deadlift, squat, pull ups, pendlay rows, lat pulldowns, barbell curls/oncline seated dumbell curls, abs
B Chest day
Incline bench, flat bench, flys, pectoral machine, dips, skullcrushers/tricep pulldowns, abs
C leg day
Squat, deadlift, OHP, lunges, leg curls, leg extensions, leg press, lateral raises, abs
AxBxCx and repeat
I like the deadlifts and squats twice a week, but I think every individual workout is quite heavy, and I dislike the fact that I hit most muscle groups only once a week. What are your thoughts, and what should I change?

You won't be able to squat and deadlift that often. Id separate them. You can add in front squats to leg day and take out leg extensions. You may want to add more shoulder exercises

Am currently doing a compsci degree at uni. My advice is learn Python and learn it well. Python has a lot of utility and serves as a good foundation. There are also a lot of open source projects that can help you learn some more advanced tools.
If you're feelin real fancy buy a Raspberry Pi and fuck around with that. If you mention it in an interview it'll show that programming isn't just a job to you and that you're continuously learning.
as for friends, I know in my area, there are clubs and organizations that do shit like "build a game in 48 hours" or "code in the dark". Hell there are even programming competitions.

Heading into my 6th year of lifting - it's all I have in my life. The doctors have offered me a ton of drugs, but I don't see the point in taking them other than for anxiety, it wont fix anything else.
