Is it worth it? I did stronglifts until I exhausted those gains, and in the last 6 months I've more or less stayed the same with 5/3/1. I want to switch but I don't want to be a fatass.

I play rugby since some time ago, i really like it, i do well except for the tackling part, i just cant tackle bigger or skilled opponents than me, they just escape or when i go to their tights i just fly away and get hit like a fucking bitch, every match i get injured as fuck, i have broke my nose and arms

I do pretty well on the weight lifting room, but it has no effect on rugby tackling, also im pretty dumb for rugby pass or skilled plays


Should i quit for once and all and realice im not made for rugby because i suck on the field ? I cant improve my tackling and it sucks to get swranped by people who is weaker than me at wrestling or lifting

Dunno what position you are but if you're front 5 and a fast/skilled player is beating you, thats probably not your problem, just stay tight to the ruck at guard/bodyguard (or pillar/post or whatever you call it). Technique for running in a linear way (like in track) is different to running in a way where you change direction a lot. Typically in the latter your arms and legs move out to the side more. There's a great sports science doc on Ronaldo that goes over a lot of the techniques on youtube.

You must have been taught how to tackle properly (mostly smacking into center of mass with a shoulder). Aim for that. Going too high is better but you're less likely to have any success, too low and you're way more liable to be injured.

Your workout is okay, but you made a large error in doing the same number of reps per set every day. You need to do as many reps as you can, or 75% of your limit. 2 X F. Also, don't do sit-ups. Replace sit-ups with leg raises, because leg raises are better and sit-ups are bad for your spine. Also, don't neglect your legs, heart and lungs. Start doing cardio, and maybe add some squats and then progress to pistol squats.

What does fit think of it? Is it better for aesthetics worse for strength?
