In nature most higher order animals play. It's a great way to practice skills and exercise as well as bond. For some reason the media likes to promote that children should play with programs like "Day of Play" and such but why not adults? Why is playing considered a childish thing? Playing sports is a great way to stay in shape and a lot of fun to do and so are non structured forms of play like playing tag are straight up Cardio exercises. With obesity on the rise in all first world nations and with the average adult having more and more free time by generation it seems like most people don't want to exercise not because they don't have the free time but because exercise isn't fun. So why not promote group play as a form of exercise? It's healthy and fun and I don't see why it should be considered childish by an ever more obese public.

Can anyone prove with evidence that deadlifting can cause spinal injury?

I see people saying deadlifting is dangerous for the spine all the time but there is literally not a single shred of evidence to support this claim.

There's countless videos of other injuries that are common from all the lifts.

Just dead lift once a weak and do weighted glute ham raises and low weight explosive deadlifts like the Texas Method suggests and you should be fine my dude. Deload when you plateau and you shouldn't hurt yourself.

I am becoming obsessed with my appearance. What have you done to me /fit/

Every single day I spend 1 hour on facial exercises: neck, chin, nose. Followed by a 30 minute teeth whitening treatment, while that is in my mouth I also do 30 minute of ab exercises. After that 30 minute of stretching, working areas to create perfect posture.

And this is just the daily stuff. That is besides my fulltime job, and my workouts at the gym. This shit is consuming me, I barely even have time to think about anything else, all my free time besides work goes towards improving my appearance. Not to mention that I spend at least 300 dollars a month on stuff that helps me improve my appearance.

Now Im starting to think of getting nose correction surgery and pinning test.

Like wtf happened to me I dont even know, I should be focussing on more important things in my life but Im just completely obsessed about making everything about my appearance look perfect.

Has anybody dealt with such a level of obsession? I think I might need help at this point

I think I know what caused it. 1.5 year my gf of 5 years broke up with me. Broke my heart, but I started training 5x as hard since then. In 2 months a festival in the summer is coming up which I know she will go to, we both always went to that festival. In my head plays a fantasy that when she sees me she will think "holy shit he looks amazing now". A fucking moment Ive been living towards for the past 6 months that will inevitably dissapoint.

the question is silly because there's no such thing as a "strength base". when people tell novices to do a linear progression novice routine based on compound exercises (like SS) it's because they give the fastest progression overall, including both strength and size. talking about "strength base" implies that you first build just strength and then later do a routine to make you grow, but it doesn't work like that.

Are weightlifting shoes a meme?

Also, will lifting using slip-resistant shoes (safety shoes?) improve my lifts? Sometimes when I'm using cables I slip out of the correct position.

Pros and cons. you could get fat first with a dirty bulk and then start working out, you'd probably be stronger, but you'd also be fat for a few months if done incorrectly.
IMO i would do a clean bulk and start exercising ASAP. if you want to gain weight make sure you eat healthy foods in high proportions, the less processed shit, the better. lots of rice, peanut butter, milk, potatoes, oatz. also get plenty of protons and you'll make it buddy.
