What are /fit/ approved Greek yogurts?
Plain flavor Chobani tastes extremely sour. I've heard other brands are better in taste and in macros overall.

The trick to thicc is to add powdered milk to the milk when you pasteurise it.
Once it's strained it's so thicc and creamy you can stand a spoon in it.

Hey can /fit/ actually give some advice for once?
I have been a long-time lurker and just got a gym-card at a local 24/7 gym.

I am going to start today and I was wondering which weights I should start with for my 5x5 for SS.

I was there yesterday and tried to determine my maxes. I didn't do 5 sets, just fucked around adding weight. Here is my maxes and some sets of 5 listed for big movements:
OHP 1max= 47.5 kg, 5max 40kg, failed the 5th rep.
Squat: 1 pl8 for 5 reps.
Benchpress 55 kg for 5, did not try max, afraid to fail.
Deadlift: 2.5pl8.
Chinups, not even one. Tried som barbellrows and got 1pl8, but I think I cheated with my form.

What are some good accessories? I'm thinking about Reverse-flies and skull-crushers for a start.

Is SS a bad idea? Where did you guys start?
Also I'm 6 foot 1, and a little bit fat, at 100 kg kinda I don't know my scale only goes to 100 and it broke.

My buddy and I are retarded and bought a smith machine on Craigslist on the cheap. We have a separate Olympic bar and plates. We are looking at making DIY J-hooks to hold the bar for squats and bench presses. Anyone have any thoughts or experience to guide us?

So i've seem to have a new found motivation for the gym, after months of 3 days a week with skipping leg days most weeks i've seem to have motivation all of the sudden. I've changed to 4 days a week with wednesday as the midweek restday. The problem is i want to go 5 days a week and im hating restdays...today is wednesday and i went to the gym, its the 3rd day in a row and i really wanna go tomorrow but i know overtraining will fuck me up and rob me of my gains.
How do you deal with this situation?

What's a milestone that you've recently passed that you're especially proud of?

I am just about to head back to the gym to lift after falling off the train after I got my first job out of college.

A 'high-powered' job that completely fucked me by demanding I work 12-14 hours a day every day and is so high stress I completely fell of the workout train. That plus eating at restaurants for every meal but breakfast and drinking too much means I've gained like 15-20 pounds in my first year of work.

Luckily I was at a healthy weight before, but I am on the precipice of becoming actually fucking fat and am trying to take my life back.

People with jobs with long hours: Strats on how to stay on top of the exercise and not getting cucked by the man?

You made yourself get fat. I get that it's harder to maintain weight while working a lot, but it's still not the actual cause. You got fat because YOU gave up. You're not going to make it if you don't realise this
