Does anyone else feel like they're getting more confused the more fitness theory they read? I read the actual scientific articles about hypertrophy and strength training, but there's just so many possible variations you can do on everything.

OK, I know people like to laugh at Planet Fatness, but is it really that terrible? I work out at home, but I'm going to be traveling for a couple of weeks at least and I'm looking into making use of this inexpensive gym. I'm a bit wary of some of their language, such as "judgment free locations" and pic related (bullying is a feature, not a bug). So give me the dirt. Can I just go lift some weights for next to nothing or am I going to be harassed for being a fucking white male 6'2 master race around a bunch of angry manlets and hamplanets?

Your shins need to be more vertical. Make sure they form a 90 degree angle with your feet. Your ass should stick out more as a result of this. Imagine "opening your taint" at the bottom and closing it at the top by squeezing your glutes. This should correct your lumbar flexion.

I still don't understand, are the muscles used for squats and deadlifts not strong enough to recover from an alternating workout? How does that make sense? For that matter, if you only do deadlifts 1/week and squats 2/week, won't your squat weight eventually overtake your deadlift weight? How would you reach 1/2/3/4 in relatively equal time if your squat would reach 3pl8 WAY before your deadlift would hit 3pl8, let alone 4pl8, barring excessively frequent deloads on your squat?

That's some plebbit fags "version". Deadlift is +10lbs per workout. Never trust these retarded infographics that condense and entire book into a braindead photo. It's also completely missing the frequency work, which is the cornerstone of the upper body work on this program.

Completely a personal preference. Some people prefer the feel of a high top for that locked in feeling but others like low tops that offer more free movement. If you have weaker ankles I'd say go high or maybe just boot tape for games

Hello citizens

I was wondering if any of you could explain this to me.

Its now midnight, I had my last meal at 6pm. Around 10pm I felt very low on energy, extremely hungry, and didn't feel alert enough to drive.

I got into bed at 10pm and tried to fall a sleep, it failed. But suddenly about half an hour ago I felt very energetic. So much so that I did a few sets of push ups and sit ups. I even feel like running now but its too late.

Any explanation for this?

Any one of you guys don't count your calories and grams of protein fat carbs?

I only eat home cook meals from my wife so I can't count and be accurate.

I have been going to gym since I was a teenager so I don't know if counting calories will make a big difference.

What do you think guys?
