Can somebody help me plan a diet? I'm not obese, but I am chubby. I've gone to the gym 3 days a week for 5 months, but I'm still not seeing any visual ab gains. Is there a diet that can help with that?

well, i just fucking lost it at my parents and now i'm fucked. i've been going to the gym for around 3 months now and i'm starting to see some progress, but my parents think im spending too much time on gym and neglecting my college work, so we always are arguing, but they haven't stopped me going yet.

so tonight i failed to increase my bench, so i was in a pretty sour mood when i got home and my sister had eaten the strawberries i wanted to have in my post workout shake, so i yelled at her. my parents came in and started yelling at me saying the gym has turned me into a violent person and that they are banning me. so i went off and said "mom and dad, if you had better genes and didn't make me a fucking manlet then i wouldn't have to work out, so fuck you" and ran off to my room. mom started crying and my sister sent me a message saying dad is going to call the gym tomorrow and cancel my membership.

what should i do?

>get every scan out there and test to conclude it's not thoracic outlet syndrome but nothing shows what is wrong with me
>I keep telling doctors it's like my pecs that are torn due to the movement and the pain
>None believe me and keep sending me to physio to treat it as other bullshit
>3 more months go by and finally a doctor said it's likely a torn pec muscle in some capacity but since it's been so long since the injury theres nothing he can do.
>Tells me to go see Chinese medicine professionals and hippy massage places and hope for the best

I am on the edge /fit/.... I seriously am about to off myself. What the fuck do I do now? Nobody seems to want to help me and 90% of doctors seem incompetent as fuck.

I can't live my life like this unable to life my arms.

Hmm. I'd go to an er, act like it's new and caused by heavy lifting. Don't mention what previous doctors said.

If they also determine its the same issue as the other doctors you may want to consider that they are correct about your condition.

Hey OP, I've been in a similar position where I had chronic hip pain as a result of misaligned hips. I was in constant pain almost daily for the better part of 2 years until I found an amazing physio and now I'm completely fine. I almost broke down in tears infront of my physio because it seemed hopeless at one point, but things got better as they always do. Stay strong, dude.

I had a tom boy GF when I was in high school. It was pretty nice. We'd just play basketball together, skate together, ride dirt bikes together, all while hooking up when we could. It was a lot like having a bro who you could fuck without the homo. We broke up and she came out as a lesbian a couple of years later, which wasn't surprising.

This is so disappointing. The guy has been lifting for almost 2 years now and was personally trained by the P90-X guy for a while. How is he still so small? I looked better and lifted heavier in my first year and I don't consider myself a marvel of the human physique. I don't even think I looked too good back then but I certainly looked better than him. How can people work for so long and make literally no progress?

1 year of lifting (17>18) 170cm

30kg > 67.5kg bench press
Not even bar > 40kg OHP
0 > 8 pull ups
0 > 10 chin Ups

56kg (20%) > 64kg (18%)

Working out 3-4 times a week om average
Am I doing something wrong?

I wanna lift big weights. Lower body does a huge amount of work and builds up much faster then upper body. After several months you do upper body and it increases very fast.

>5x5 pause bench or cgbp
>4x10 pullovers or 4xf chins
>2x5+1xf z press
>hammer and wrist curls for whatever

just do more volume. like benching and pressing on the same day, with variants thrown in to fix a weakness. i also split up my workouts into an upper and lower day. lower body is squats, deadlift or variant, barbell hip thrusts for dem glutes

Is there anything wrong with really long rest times?

I have a home gym in my living room, and I'm doing SL5x5. I tend to take upwards of 15-25 minute breaks between my squats, and then 5-10 minutes between all my other exercises

Is this an issue? It's not a waste of time for me because I just read or continue doing whatever else I'm doing between sets, since it's a home gym

Am I missing out on some aspect of gains by taking super long rest breaks?

If I don't do it, I get really bad pain in my knees and hip joints. Maybe I'm lifting above my safe maxes, I don't know. But I'm making good gains with not many deloads.

Hello /fit/. I've been wanting to streamline my diet and repeat the same meal for every meal out of laziness. Is there an option for this? I am thinking omelette.

Reasons:

>cook a bunch of veg/lean meat to throw in beforehand
>takes 10 minutes or less to make
>tastes good
>can add spinach and mushrooms
>eggs are cheap as fuck
>various hot sauces to add

If I make two omelettes a day and a protein shake would this be perfect?
