I get tense cramping pains in the sides of my hips whenever I do a core excersise, which I assume are weak hip abductors as I have never done an excersise for them since I started lifting.

If you're new you can get 1 inch thick weights and a barbell cheap used.
Depends on your goals. You can do what you're doing for endurance, but not strength.

If you have been lifting for less than 5 years and are natural you have no business doing anything other than full-body workouts.
Upper/Lower, PPL, Chest Monday, Back Tuesday, Arms Wednesday, etc. are all fluff and pump routines that will not build you muscle efficiently.
They only work for experienced lifters looking to target specific lagging areas, and roiders.

Someone in the gym told me I could get a body like Ronnie Coleman if only I started lifting weights when I was 13 or so. Because by that time you could maximize your testosterone and growth hormone. I told him he uses steroids but then again he said steroids only speeds up the process. If you lift at least 20 years you could get a body as big as him.
You already know the answer to this, bud. You will never look like Ronnie without tons of gear, HGH, and slin. And even then, it's unlikely.

I need some motivation /fit/
I have a hard time with my diet bc I love carbs so while I usually stay at a good range for calories I always miss my macros
I've been lifting more and I found today that I've gained 4 pounds. I don't think I've been lifting enough to gain 4 pounds in muscle or eating enough to gain 4 pounds in cellulite. I'm really not sure what happened. Either way I'm a bit down and need some motivation.
