How this guy can be so fast while so skinny? He's 6'3 and weight 170 lb wet.
And white
This guy in the 1979 ran 10.01 in the 100m and 19.72 in the 200m .
5'11 155 lb
Im exactly 6"3 and 170lbs. Am I skinny?
I'm currently 6ft1 13.5 stone if I do 50 abdominal crunches, 50 rotary torso reps, 50 triceps press' , 50 arm curls and 30 mins on a elliptical, how long until I am /fit/ (pic unrelated)
About 7 units of time.

Your springer spaniel is adorable! Do you hunt with him?
Im sorry that doesnt go towards fit.
Is powerlifting just an excuse to be fat? At least half if not the majority of bodybuilders can lift just as much weight as powerlifters/strongmen and they look ten times better cuz they don't eat like shit
>bald, fat, look like shit, braindead
i've never understood the appeal of looking like these fucking faggots. I don't care how "strong" they are, they look like shit and are literally taking years off their lives by being retarded fat cunts. I train in a powerlifting style, but i refuse to admire anyone who looks like these meme humans.
Yes it generally is.
Diet is a 24/7 exercise in discipline.
Lifting is easy compared to being disciplined with diet. An entire day's diet can be fucked up by one tiny moment of weakness.
>>41854663
How do you train in a powerlifting style without becoming a powerlifter yourself?
When lifting as an addition to your martial arts, you should go for strength (5 reps max), right?
you do realize that not even powerlifters only train with 5 reps or less, right?
even dedicated powerlifting routines like Sheiko have you occasionally doing bench pyramids with higher reps and higher rep accessory work (even though the bulk of the work is like 2-3-4 rep sets)
>>41854631
No, I didn't realize!
>>41854632
not really, no
if you are training for hypertrophy correctly (big compound focus, just with slightly higher rep ranges and more volume especially from accessory work) you will be plenty strong anyway to the point where it won't make much of a difference
it's not all 1 rep maxes or all cable flyes, this is just some weird /fit/ false dichotomy

What is the best gym to join? Am I better off going to a local one or a franchise one?
>>41854461
franchise is nice if you get a membership that allows you to work out at all locations -- one of the few good things with Planet Fitness, that membership is $20
>>41854461
planet fitness you get free bulking food
>>41854461

>>41854378
doing whatever until you are tired, then rest, then do it again or do something else.
routines are for plebs.
>>41854398
This. I make up a routine every day. Usually the same exercises but try new ones from time to time to see what works.
>>41854398
this
just climb a tree, run or swim across the lake and then drink raw milk like chad did in his childhood on farm
So I just hit my thirties.
Have been doing gym on and off, but never been anything noteworthy.
Starting seriously now with Push/Pull compounds, a strict plan for training (ABxABxA..) and eating
About 14% BF, 5"11, 160 lbs.
How realistic is into shape when youre old (for me would be around~10-11% BF @170+ lbs)?
>>41854339
>Routine?
Sticky
>Fit at 30+?
Depending on your situation, background, goals etc, it may or may not be a good idea to hop on TRT
>5'10 155 lbs
never let yourself slip

Not asking for one, btw already mentioned it
>Depending on your situation, background, goals
Its what I outlined: 14% BF, 5"11, 160 lbs =>10-11% BF @170+ lbs

Help /fit/izens, schizophrenic/autistic faggot from recent thread about autism here. Im thinking about going to the hospital as doctor recommended but it will be 2 weeks and im afraid of losing my gains. Im guessing that bodyweight exercises won't do shit to maintain my strength. What should i do?
>>41854148
fuckall will happen in 2 weeks.
put "retarded" on that list will ya
>>41854148
Max strength is maintained for about a month before significant losses as long as you're not totally sedentary. Focus on getting better anon, lifting is a long term change. You will have set backs. You will stumble, get injured, fail. But someday, you will join Zyzz in the sun.
>>41854148
bro, if you're schizo and the doctor says go to the hospital
>go to the fucking hospital
>Can I work in with you on bench, bro?

No. Fuck off fatty.
have a question regarding "dirty" cutting. I just started 2 weeks ago and have lost 10 lbs tracking calories only. Im currently 366 so eating 2400 per day. Im still eating fast food 5 times or more per week, but tracking all meals. So for instance a light breakfast, for lunch 1000 calories at taco bell/McDonalds/arbys and then 1000 calorie dinner. Is there anything inherently wrong with this approach? I fail to see how this could not work long-term, because calories are still in check and im still eating the food I like, bit i cant shake feeling like its "wrong". Is it not just about total daily calories? Still eating meat, carbs, and fats (and hitting MFP daily protein goals) so whats the problem?
>tracking calories
>from fast food slop shops or restaurants
just so you know, just because their online menu has nutrition facts on it, doesn't mean those are exactly what you are eating. Will you always get 54g of french fries in each small serving? No, it's some what random. Will it always be 75g of "beef" product in those taco bell thingies? Nah it's whatever the teenager/nigger working there felt like putting in it. You will never know exactly how much of anything they put in any of your food.
So tracking that stuff is basically guess work. Plus or minus at least a 100 calories, if not more from everything you get there.
>>41854048
At your weight it doesn't really matter since I'm assuming your current goal i's to just lose weight, but It's definitely not the healthiest approach. When you get to the low 200 range start worrying about your macros.
>>41854105
To add to this I recommend you buy a mini scale. Also by request many places will give you your food separated by ingredients. At least that's what I used to do when I got my burgers from Wendy's. I never ask for sauces or spreads though those are straight up calorie traps.
So I've bumped up my workout days from 2 a week to 4 a week thanks to changing jobs. I'm starting to get this sort of afterburn heat throughout my body. It's the day after I worked out, and it's kind of weird to be sweating a bit even when I'm just doing office work in a T-shirt. Is there a way to mitigate this? Is this supposed to be a good thing?
yeah you are boosting your metabolism, body needs more work to recover and repair.
thats normal when you increase your workload. should pass after a few weeks till it gets used to it.
