i started SSRIs a while ago and my drive to lift and eat right has fucking vanished

lexapro makes me complacent and unmotivated to change, not just my fitness

i can't stop filling my face hole with gross expensive dogshit food, yesterday i binged at mcdonalds and a few hours later ordered mozzarella sticks and fries

please god help me fit i don't know where else to go

That's my fat ass as of today.

28 years old, 5'10, 265

Been doing regular cardio for a month now, mostly 30 minute interval training on the elliptical machine, hands on the bars, arms pumping, not on the stationary handles.

Also do row machine every few days for about 10 minutes, and also swim 1-2 times per weekend. Occasionally power-walking on the treadmill with the incline as high as it will go. These are in addition to the elliptical. Elliptical is every day, no exceptions.

Last Monday I started starting strength.

Diet consists of a fuckton of egg, poultry, and beef protein, a lot of water, coffee, and tea, a cliff bar typically every day on weekdays, and fruit on weekends. Today I'll be picking up spinach, peppers, onions, muchrooms, and some other veggies to start mixing in as well.

I still have some simple carbs and refined sugars in my diet. They're hard to eliminate, but I'm keeping them to a minimum.

What tips, thoughts, criticism, or advice can you guys offer? I have an overwhelming desire to lift on rest days. Is this bad? What if I do lifts that aren't part of SS, like curls, etc.?

I've already started seeing minor results, like pants feeling a bit looser, and looking better in the morning. How long before I can realistically expect to see significantly lower fat? Don't care about getting cut or ripped, just want power and no fat.

brehs, i had my first pro kickboxing match the other night. lost, and got injured on top of that.

my left ribs are bruised, with one of them kind of sticking out and causing severe pain, left of the stomach. getting up, sitting and laying down, pretty much all kinds of movements are very painful. however, the area has not turned blue.

what worries me more is the fact that my whole torso area is swollen as fuck and it's like i've gotten fat in the span of 2 days. more importantly, my feet, calves and ankles are very swollen. no pain though, but it's like i have fat person's feet.

i don't even look like a normal person at this point - my arms, shoulders, back and quads are ripped, but torso, calves and feet look like those of a fat person.

i fear some internal organ is malfunctioning, but i'll only be able to go to the doctor tomorrow since it's Sunday.

could the spleen be injured?

But making gains while losing weight isn't really possible with any diet unless you are a complete beginner or on steroids.

Keto is a great way to drop fat for people who struggle with keeping their appetite at bay.
But it isn't some magical super health diet like a lot of ketards seem to think.
They suddenly find a way to shrink their fat ass easily and assume that losing fat and being healthy are exactly the same thing so they find ways to justify sugar being the devil. Don't be like that.

But yes, keto is great for losing fat if you find it hard to keep carb cravings away. You will feel shitty for the first 3-7 days as your body gets used to it too. You will also drop 5-10lbs in the first week because your glycogen stores get depleted hardcore.

It's perfect for losing weight with specific conditions. But for the average joe it's no better for weight loss than a properly managed diet. I started trying it recently because my gf has pcos and is terrible with managing cravings. First week I felt like absolute shit and she felt amazing.

went to burger king with my brother today. had the patty of a grilled chicken burger, two grilled chicken wings, and a sip of coke. 600 cal day. gonna make some peppermint tea now and plan this week's workout.

might do a three day water fast later in the week. i once accidentally went two days without food and didn't even realise it till the evening of the 2nd day. i could probably do three days ez cause i'm a fat fuck anyway.
