How are guys attracted to muscular women? Women with gains is freaking disgusting. Girls aren't supposed to lift to the point where they have bigger biceps than most guys. Their body is too manly and she might as we grow hair under her arms like a man also since she wants to be like one.

You can set these up two ways:
1. a band peg + a monster band. put a band peg was level in rack, loop band around one end, wrap band around waste like a seat belt and attach end to band peg again, grab the opposite end of the rack with your hands, walk as close to it as you can to stretch the band, stand on one leg, partially squat and thrust, extending knee, using as little arms as possible. this works better if you're fat or have a small rack as it's easier to "buckle" the band around you and the double band effect created causes more tension so the smaller rack won't cause a limitation
2. loop a or a few monster bands around one end of a rack upright, pull it taut, step inside of the other end of the loop(s), grab/step towards the furthest other end of the rack with two hands, walk forward pulling band as tight as you can, stand on one leg, bend knee and thrust into band while extending knee. this setup works better in a larger size rack not for fat people tho
If you had two stable poles (pull up bars, swings, etc) spaced a correct distance apart you could do the same, loop band around one end of pole, step inside the band, grab the other pole and walk forward, get on one leg, bend knee and thrust while extending knee
You can really play around with angles and leverages to maximize band tension and muscle contractions. You'll really feel an intense contraction in your glutes and hams if doing it right.

I did 550kg earlier this week. I would try more but the plates at my gym are wide and fill up the bar.

Basically you set up like a normal deadlift, but at the point where you hold your arms out in front of you and puff up your chest in the typical powerlifter deadlift setup ritual way, you just keep your arms out in front of you instead of grabbing the bar. Then pull and lockout.

Why do you eat carbs, fruits, and vegetables /fit/? The fact we store fat so easily and only store limited amounts of carb (glycogen) indicates fat is our primary source of energy, and carbs only needed for emergency. Why not just eat only protein and fat via meat, which is more nutritious and easier to digest than carby plant foods that make you gassy and bloated? Why consistently eat carbs and have chronically heightened blood sugar and insulin, which directly opposes burning fat. You don't need insulin to grow muscle because when you work out hard enough, your muscles absorb nutrients even without insulin. Eat like a caveman and enjoy stable blood sugar and be a fat burning machine.

Hey /fit/

20 year old, 5'8 average weight manlet here. I've finally decided to give it a go and get in shape, but I'm unsure if I'll see any satisfactory results.

I've got the diet side covered, but I don't wanna go to the gym so my workout will be all home based.
Planning on a 2 mile run, 50 pull-ups 50 push ups 50 crunches workout. I also have a heavy bag and planning on spending at least 30 minutes. All this, 5 days a week.

What do you think, will I get anything or am I wasting my time?

Your routine is shit. You are not One Punch Man. You will not build any muscle doing crunches and push-ups. Get a gym membership and follow a weights routine. Nobody will judge or care about what you're doing unless you're being a weirdass with the girls working out.

Your cardio is fine though, some running is always good. I'd recommend following a couch to 5k program if you're not used to running.

Lets talk about the hardest lift of the day, which is lifting yourself out of bed. Does anyone else have that problem when they get out of bed 2 hours after they already woke up?

Okay so I've been lifting for 2 months now, when does it start to get fun? I started because I wanted to get bigger and stronger and I thought it would become fun after a while but apparently not.
I work out for 1.5 hours 4 days a week if anyone is wondering.
