Finally decided to start working out. Turns out I can't do an atg squat. My ankle mobility is too limited to allow me to balance myself at the bottom. I end up looking like pic related if I don't want to fall on my ass.
How can I increase my ankle mobility? Are oly shoes a good idea to counter this issue in the meantime?

Alright so I began last year about this time. Elliptical twice a day for 90 minutes each, with a mixture of ab workouts and pushups. Now I run about 8 miles every day between two workouts. Essentially giving myself a modified PT test each time. My question is how to truly get busted up in the abdominals. I do elevated sit ups to failure and weighted dips ( Only 10 pounds). so yeah, advice and criticisms. PS I went from drinking mountain dew, Cowboy Killers, and Candy to being moderately fit.

got some free time this summer and want to get in shape because every time I play basketball with my buddies, I get gassed and red in the face.. Don't really want to get a gym membership because I'm going to uni in the August and don't really want to pay for it.
At home we have a treadmill, 15, 10, and 5 pound dumbbells, a door frame pull up bar, and some jumpropes. I also have access to an outdoor track within 3 miles of my track. Anyone want to recommend a home workout plan for me in hopes to achieve better endurance and maybe gain some strength as well?
