Is sleep really that important for recovery, or do you just need "rest".? I ask because uninterrupted sleep is not an option, pic related. It's been 7 months and still cannot lose last 10 pounds and no more nugaines. Yes changed intensity/diet... but sleep is something that evades me. Also is there a sleep cheat?

Breathing is a big factor to falling asleep.
There are a few other factors to improve your sleep. Take magnesium before sleep. Google it.

What can I expect from rock climbing?
Setup a date tonight with an 8/10 /fit/ qtpa2t on Tinder that has been rock climbing for a bit over a year. I've never been before. How I do not embarrass myself? My weighted pull up is 3 reps for 130 lb added to 170 pounds bodyweight at 6'0 so I'm not completely fucked, right? I have tiny hands though. Lifting hasn't prepared me for this.

What kind of rock climbing?
Bouldering ( no rope, short climbs falling onto crash mat ) or lead climbing ( high wall tethered at the top and belayed)
