Hello guys,
Im currently at 125kg of weight, Im coming from 160kg of weight.
Luckily before I got so fat I somehow managed to not let my muscles go missing. I trained and changed my diet, but it somehow stopped at 120kg ~ +/-5 from time to time.
My muscles are cleary existend and trained, but I cant get rid of the fat on my tighs and my belly.
I need some help, some advice how I can loose this until the end of august. There is a festival where Im attending and I want to look good at it.
What can I do? ( Im not on a specific diet, but I mainly care about healthy good and good nutrition)

Eat less. You weigh more than two of me put together.

>doesn't post his height to go with weight
>expects people to give him a response with nothing but assumptions in mind
>says he has muscle but doesn't mention how often he trains them or what his routine is like
>expects an answer from anyone that isn't trolling

please help me /fit/, I don't want to lose my gains
At what body fat % do you guys start to lose strength? Ive cut slowly from 75kg down to 69kg and can still hit the same 1RM.
I've never been below 10%, but here's what I noticed
Squat: implodes the moment I go on any kind of cut, regardless of if it's at 20% or 12%, but gets noticeably worse as I get leaner
Bench: have been able to eek out slow progress on a cut, usually can maintain
Deadlift: stays about the same, only ever lost a little strength on very long cuts

ive never train seriously so could just be that this time i ate better and trained harder during a cut and saw increase in everything except bench.
Im gonna keep heading down until i cant squat 150kg. (pr is160) And then try a program for the first time. any good once youd recommend ?
the 5/3/1 just seam like there's not enough training.

Cartoon watching iCuck. Seems about right. My 14 year old girl won't touch anything not made by Apple.
tonight I got my barbell and plates and mats. no rack though.
How to do I get onto the gain train again without crippling myself to death?
Is anyone else afraid of getting old? I'm not sure if it's caused by bodybuilding and self improvement in general but I've found myself seriously getting scared of becoming old and seeing myself waste away and know that I will never go back. The funny thing is, I'm actually pretty young and before what most would consider the prime of their life, meaning I have plenty of life ahead of me, but the fact that it is a finite time scares the shit out of me.
>pic mildly related, kozo sudo, Japanese bodybuilder who I met at the local gym he runs in Japan. At that time I was a skelly just starting to lift that didn't know how to squat, and he showed me the ropes in his gym. The man was an old husk of himself at the time, still in great shape and probably one of the greatest for his age (his legs were tree stumps) but the aging had still stolen most of his former glory shown in the pic

I've been afraid of aging since I was a little kid, but I've come to realise it's no thing to worry about, we all get old and wrinkly and pur muscles waste away before we die. If anything helped me, it was understanding that wisdom is something that just accumulates over the years, and you don't make as many dumb decisions as when you were young. Also people in general start to respect and listen to you more as you get closer to your thirties.
I'm interested to see what that japanese dude looks like in his old age, if you got some pic, please post them. I'm sure he looks great if he keeps himself in shape.

Not everyone is lucky enough to live to see their bodies so marred

Here's a pic I took with him when I left Japan after he first showed me around. Look at my arm lol, pretty funny how I was that skinny at one point. One sad thing is if the poor guy just knew English, he would definietly be known as one of the greats of classic bodybuilding. He competed along the legends like serge nubret, and was tight w a lot of them. He recieved lots of offers etc to come to the USA, but he didn't like it because he couldn't understand what was going on in the USA, so he just wanted to stay with what he knew
Why do some weak ass plebs pretend nofap is hard?
If you cant have the self-discipline like ancient heroic samurai, super aryan germanic soldiers or a roman centurion, why even live?
Been nofap for 24 hours now and I already feel much better. Easiest and best decision I ever made in life.
I haven't had my blood pressure checked in ages. Figured I'd use my gym's blood pressure machine to find it out....got my reading and it's 190/90 with a pulse of 62. That's a fucking emergency according to some websites, but I don't feel bad or anything. Apparently normal is around 130/80...I have no idea what those numbers mean.
Thing is, the collar that my arm goes into on the machine is pretty small, and I have 18" arms (not fatceps, I'm fairly built). I had to really squeeze my arm in to get it in the machine and it was a tight fit already before the machine turned on and began to inflate. Will the size of my arms affect the pressure readout? Or should I be taking myself to the hospital?
Blood pressure fluctuates throughout the day and can be affected by things from exercise to anxiety.
Hypertension (High blood pressure) is establish when you have a reading taken 3 times and it is above 130/90 all 3 times. At this point your doctor would offer you a 24 hour blood pressure monitor to determine if you actually have high blood pressure.
A blood pressure of 190/90 can be found in emergency scenarios (Malignant Hypertension) but is not necessarily the case. Have you had any headaches? Has your vision changed at all? Any chest pain? How has the amount of times you go to the toilet to pee changed?
>>42094578
The size of your arms is not affecting it. You should probably go to a doctor
>>42094619
none of the above
i drink lots of water but havent had to urinate more frequently than normal
my eating habits are decent but i do eat a lot of red meat (chopped sirloin basically every day)
i guess ill get a couple more readings before freaking out too much
Is this achievable natty?
Just 30 years of prison workouts and top ramen and tuna
>wanted to buy a pullup bar for doors
>door frame is too weak to withstand it
Are there any other cheap alternatives?
Pic unrelated.
a childrens playground
That face says it all.

Go workout at the park, theres always a few calisthenics bars there . Heck, even playgrounds have moneybars. Unless you're a child molester with a restraining order, playgrounds should do.
Why didn't Rippetits program curls into SS? Did he fear the big bicep'd lifter?
>>42094490
because he programmed chin ups into SS

Because there are two mutually exclusive assumptions:
1: You don't have an athletic background, so curls are of little utility in a beginner program
2: You have previous experinece in the weightroom, but it's 99% curls and bench
leading to
1: If they're going to add in curls or other isolation just because, he suggests other compounds later on. Concentrate on curls instead of compounds, stall, claim meme
2: Definitely going to curl no matter what you say. Likely to superset everything with curls
Honestly, the only time you really need to add curls is if you switch to a mixed grip DL and only then to strengthen the surrounding tissue. If you want to go wild and develop elbow tendonitis, and then lose all your gains, have at it
I'm doing Brian Alsruhes linear progression program and it calls for using ramping weights.
Problem is everywhere I've looked for help with programming it uses very high weight for an example.
My stats are
Squat: 25 lbs (skipped too many leg days when starting out)
Deadlift:50 lbs
Bench:60 lbs
OHP: 25 lbs
Any help with where I should start with the ramp? I always go either too light or way too heavy from the start.
Boys, I think we can all agree festivals are for normie twinks and that real men camp. In this thread we discuss fit food that can be preserved for extended periods of time and require minimal preparation.
-Jerky
-No bean canned chili
-Tuna
-Salami
-Canned veggies
Anybody else have any good camping food ideas for an extended trip?
