Umbilical hernia is a bitch. Had mine fixed 2 weeks after I sensed it, recovery is quite fast and painless.
If you let it get to that stage however, you are looking at 3-6 months downtime.

I just got my bloodwork back from the doctor. Perfect levels across the board, but my test was at 450. I know this is on the lower end, and he said it was just fine. I want to know how much this inhibits my lifting ability, and how I can increase it naturally without messing myself up long-term. Is possible?

For athletes in general carbs tend to be the nutrient that is adjusted when determining weight gain or weight loss. Insulin is also needed for growth. So you're really just not well read in nutrition.

Pinch lift 3x15-20seconds
Pronated finger curls 3x15-20
Pronated wrist curls 3x15-20
Supinated wrist curls 3x15-20

1day a week fat bar DL's 3x7-10@70% 1rm.
Fat bar for rows and other easier pulling (doing PHUL).
