A few days ago I ate a whole jar of this and it tasted preety good. Can I use this to justify eating a whole jar of peanut butter? It has only 700 calories and like 70g of protein

Good for shakes, otherwise a more expensive pea-buttr. It has less calories yes, but it has very little fat.
I'd say its great for cuts, not for bulks.

Would you take lifting advice from someone who looks like shit?

What is the cause of bad posture? Why does every guy who looks like pic related has that same posture?
5 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
because they have weak core muscles (anterior and posterior) so they don't move naturally

find someone with good posture and you'll find that they have a strong core
>>
>>42244567
When I notice myself doing the virgin walk, I fix up my posture and maintain it. It's pretty subconcious at this point. Simply walking with your head facing directly ahead makes all the difference.

What is the final solution to the problem of the overweight and obese?

How can we end it once and for all?
6 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
>>42244565
Stop eating so much.
>>
>>42244565
Want to end obesity? That's pretty much like trying to stop sin. People have it so good now, even the poor fags of a first world country can still afford to fill their cabinets and get fat. There's less need for hard manual labor, less need to walk, less need to socialize in person. There's no wars like WW2 going on where the weak were sniffed out. Obesity is the direct result of greed and overindulgence.

At the end of the day I doubt any of us want to stop society from progressing for the sake of weak willed faggots overdosed on gluttony. Let the weak rot.

read stickey thread u fat shit.

i remember that feel scared to go gym tho.

heres autistic social reject strategy for gym confidence. do something not embarassing like walking on treadmill. watch the roid gentlemen doing free weights, so you know proper process for adjusting and racking them without embarassing yourself. then go lift. voila! keep lifting & suddenly you thin, and get FREE infinite confidence. your welcome fatty.

Basically cut calories. Only drink water. Lots of water. And do 60-120s 3 times a week for a total of 20 minutes and work your way up weekly either by adding a 4th run day or more time per run day you'll be shredding weight dude just got to be disciplined and not get frustrated

Can you teach me some exercises that build your chest muscles and the upper back?

I work out every second day "in my room" with cardio in between, all I have is 2 15lb weights.

I do my push ups and flies with the weights laying on the floor. I tried the reverse elbow push ups off 2 action packers to get my upper back, but it felt retarded and I gave up on it.

I'm thinking, I'm going to have to build a pull up rack. And I will, depending on if you guys or girls can suggest something else that's as effective.

But please advise me on the chest exercises because that's what I really care about at the moment. I want a juicy looking chest.

Thanks a lot, you guys and girls are the best and I love you lots.

The Pareto principles dictates that 20% of the effort will yield 80% of the results.

However, the 20% effort is more than those who have deluded themselves realize:

You need to do a majority of the following to make it, and it all can easily be done even while working 50 hours a week:

>Track appropriate consumed calories
>Track approximate macros
>Eat a large amount of vegetables daily
>Not deviating from diet for bullshit reasons
>Read multiple books on healthy human diets
>Track results of each workout
>Have a workout routine that you stick to
>Periodically assess the appropriateness of your workout routine.
>Avoid alcohol except in limited social situations
>Avoid excess sugar except in limited social situations
>Read multiple books on weightlifting
>Periodically do form checks
>Work daily on flexibility and posture
>Push yourself every workout (except when injured)
>Never skipping workouts because you 'don't feel like it'. True emergencies only.
>Periodically research and be able to explain why the lifts you have chosen are beneficial

Doing the above for 1-2+ years (maybe even less for those who have lifted a long time but are stuck in mediocre limbo and haven't perfected their diets) nearly guarantees making it to the extent you need to. Accountability and effort are the 20%.
True greatness will take more effort (steroids, higher intensity, more hours, more study).

If the above list scares you, you're not doing enough and you know it.
Why go to the gym 3x a week if you aren't going to fix your diet for a few months while you cut?

It's not honestly that hard, but convincing mentalets that it isn't? That's the hard part.

>But I don't do some of these things and I made it bro!!!
K. Great. Awesome.

>Bro I don't need to track shit I wing it and make it
K. Great. Awesome. Odds are you've developed a reliable heuristic which replaced the need to track. That's fine. It still took effort to find your rhythm which is the whole point.

>Track appropriate consumed calories
Nope. Too lazy and my eating habits make this pretty difficult.
>Track approximate macros
nope, same as above.
>Eat a large amount of vegetables daily
I do that
>Not deviating from diet for bullshit reasons
Eat out/fast food maybe 1-2 times a month, that's about it
>Read multiple books on healthy human diets
Got a couple on my reading list, haven't gotten to them yet.
>Track results of each workout
Yes, I'm not a retard.
>Have a workout routine that you stick to
Yup.
>Periodically assess the appropriateness of your workout routine.
Yup.
>Avoid alcohol except in limited social situations
I still drink too much/ too often, but I've reduced it already.
>Avoid excess sugar except in limited social situations
The only sugar I get is honey. I don't eat anything with added sugar.
>Read multiple books on weightlifting
Yup. Read SS, 531, and got a few others on my reading list as well.
>Periodically do form checks
Yup.
>Work daily on flexibility and posture
Eric Bugenhagen's hip mobility routine. And I'm pretty conscious about having good posture at all times.
>Push yourself every workout (except when injured)
Yeah.
>Never skipping workouts because you 'don't feel like it'. True emergencies only.
Usually only skip when I'm hungover. Last time I lifted hungover I injured myself.
>Periodically research and be able to explain why the lifts you have chosen are beneficial
Yup.

>My Fitness pal telling me to cap at 1600 calories a day

My goal is to lose weight AND get stronger, but I don't want to completely gimp myself doing StrongLift as a beginner, despite the fact it seems I'm doing linear increases relatively ok. I've been hitting the 1600 calories limit so far.

What do?

Why the fuck are you at a 1,400 kcal deficit? Keep to like 500-800 kcal deficit.

Yes, lift weights. Yes, do a beginner program. Yes, you can increase your lean body mass as a beginner lifter while losing weight. Yes, you will get stronger as well.

Ok I've adjusted my daily to

- 2200-2400 calories
- 60-70 g fat
- 190-200g protein
- 180-200g carb

Thanks for your help mate.

Assuming one eats their daily protein intake and eats at a calorie surplus, how often should weights be increased for a muscle if that muscle is trained every five days?

>how often should weights be increased for a muscle if that muscle is trained every five days
fuck that's a good bit of rest there. When I had just 3 days between lifts at max, ate my brotein, got my rest, and my cals in, I added at least 2.5lbs each session. that was with things like OHP. on Deadlift I could easily add 15lbs each session.
