Warrior diet sounds like it's something used by fuckwits.

I do intermittent fasting, not because it ramps up your metabolism, but because it's easier to eat within caloric constraints if you only allow yourself to eat within a ten-hour window.

Keto is pretty sweet if you can go without carbs (once again, you will lose the same amount of weight if you have a 1000cal/day deficit on keto or eating normally), but I lost almost all of my weight through roughly tracking + overestimating calories and using just plain CICO.

Just calculate your TDEE and shoot for 1000 below that with cardio and the fat will melt off if you're disciplined.

Might be a meme but it's a good way to stay in a deficit. I do one meal a day and am down from 195 to 190 in about 10 days.

Hey /fit/

Any of you lifting while on anti-psychotics or other heavy medicine? Could include any medicine that treats the noggin.

I'd be interested to hear any of your experiences. Lifting (and the meds) have so far kept me pretty sane. Could go into side effects if anyone else wants to talk. Wonder if anyone else is going through this too.

after a long spell of inactivity I got back into lifting on sertraline, an SSRI. the only sides I noticed were somewhat increased appetite and decreased libido. insomnia the first week but that passed quickly. don't think it affected much else in terms of lifting progress.

this isn't a noggin one, but I started methamizole some months ago, a pill for hyperthyroidism. I threw on 20 pounds in about 4 months, probably 5 lean and 15 fat. currently kicking myself for "DUDE DIRTY BULKIN LMAO" as my metabolism was fixing itself, because I easily could have made that into 10 lean pounds on account of TDEE dropping off a cliff due to thyroid compound production falling.

on a 10 day course of prednisone im not sure theres any point in lifting while on it due to the massive repartitioning of macros and a failure to heal from injury so im eating high protein, high carbs and low fat while treating it as a cut and doing cardio each day

TLDR: work to much haven't done anything stressed and mind is fucked
Recommendation for keeping my energy all day
Hey bros what's up?

For the last 3 weeks I've been putting over time and now I'm starting to see the effect (work at a chem plant)
This week I haven't had a day off since last Sunday and I go in tomorrow again fortunately I have 3 days off after that.
I haven't gone to the gym or done anything besides walk around work all day
Before I used to get home shower and hit the gym
But now I get home shower and take a nap
Honestly today right after waking up the first thing that poped into my head was "oh shit I'm late for work" and now I think I've developed quite a bit of stress
And my body reacting to that has cause me to feel tired and groggy all the time
Anybody got a recommendation for to be energetic all day

Sounds like you're sleep deprived senpai. Quit taking naps and get like 12 hrs of quality sleep ASAP, no sleeping meds or drugs.

I know society pushes this ideal of doing insane amounts of work with little sleep, but it is very unhealthly psychologically.

Could you call in to work and just tell your boss you could really use a day off to recover from all of the overtime? He will appreciate the honesty.

I've refrained from posting on /fit/ because my upper body is skinny as heck 'cause I don't lift. I don't run but I'm a decent cyclist. My resting heart rate is around 50 bpm, so I'm pretty fit as far as cardiovascular health is concerned.

lets say you over eat 3500 calories a day, which would be like 5500 cals, which a fuckton.

it would take you two weeks to burn it off by eating like 2000 cals a day and faster if you threw in some light cardio.

Going on a cruise this December.
I fully plan to eat, drink, and do whatever the fuck i want for 7 days straight.
What's the point of a vacation if it's not fun? I will return to my diet/lifting routine when I get home, and have it all back in a month.

Did anyone try to get ripped by doing yoga?

I did martial arts in the past and encountered some tough people that became ripped by doing yoga. Now I want to do the same. inb4 powerlifting -- I've done that, now I want to get ripped without getting much muscle mass. Advices?

Being "Ripped" is a combination of muscle mass and low body fat. NOTHING ELSE.

How do you get muscle mass?
You get protein 500 surplus diet, get resistance that's sufficient for muscle growth.

Then how do you lose body fat %? You do whatever shit the fuck you want with a 500 Calorie net deficit.
