It seems that these last few years /fit/ went from "we're all gonna make it" to "you should just kys if you're a manlet/chinlet/dicklet...".

I think balancing the board with some wholesome encouraging and optimism can be healthy.

SS for bench will only take you so far, when you start stalling you will need to add more volume and train at lower intensity

You're gonna make it.
As for bench, learn about leg drive as you might not be using it properly. Jen Thompson has a great video on bench technique that covers leg drive in a way that is easy to understand.
Other than that, use more volume. Its hard to keep bench going up with lower volume.

As for me, I got 1pl8 OHP for 15 reps today. Beating my previous 1pl8 PR of 12.

When doing weighted dips, is it best to do 3x5 or 3x8? Also, how should I know when to progress to a higher weight?

I add 5 lbs whenever I can do 3x15 with any given weight
If I go too heavy it feels like my shoulders and ribcage are about to blow the fuck out, so I never go below 8 reps

Genuine question. I know Dips are like the only thing you can do part ROMs for until you're good enough to do the full motion. So wouldn't you being able to do full, deep reps every time for all sets mean you should move up?

Just do whatever you prefer. It's not like it's going to make a huge difference as long as the weight is increasing.

What do you need to do to achieve the "sucked cheeks" aesthetic?: Is it mostly genetic or do you just need to get really skinny?

Probably mostly genetic. I not just the cheekbones either. My cheekbones aren't all that amazing and I still have hollow cheeks and I know guys with much better cheekbones (who are much more attractive) than me who don't have it. It's not like it matters anyway, as it doesn't show that well during daylight anyway. Don't focus on bullshit like hollow cheeks, as it barely makes a difference in attractiveness.

Explain this to me.

The end of week 5 of Couch to 5k has you running for 20 mins.

Week 6 has you back running at slower intervals. Then at the end of it you're running 25 mins.

Shouldn't week 6 continue the 20 min solid run for the first 2 workouts and then add the extra 5 mins for a total of 25 mins at the 3rd and last?

It seems counterproductive to make your way up to 20 mins of running and then go back to baby steps.

Is it possible to increase my strength enough to lift 200 pounds and carry it around in a month? I can currently do about 130 pounds.

It depends what the load is that you're carrying.
If you can get it onto the back of your shoulders and do it like a fireman carry, you will easily manage.
If you mean carrying it like a movie hero carries an unconscious woman out of a fire, then probably not.
If you mean like a suitcase, probably not for any appreciable distance.

OP, unless you are training for competition, 4 times is entirely too much. You are gonna look like shit.

If you do some as speed work and some as pause work, you will be fine.

But no you will plateau pretty fast if you're going heavy with an aim to go heavier every workout.
