Quit cold turkey. You're going to feel like shit for a few days though.

Stock up on pain killers for the headaches, just check to make sure they don't have caffeine in them.

Started off borderline aushwitzmode, been lifting and eating properly for nearly 3 months now. Can I consider myself past skelly mode yet? 6'2", 147lbs

You're still skelly mate, I can appreciate how difficult it is to leave Aushwitz as I was there, but for anyone who doesn't know you you're still skelly. For people who know you and saw how tiny you were they probably notice the changes but you've still got a ways to go. Progress is progress mate, 3 months is a start, be pleased but don't get slack. Now till ~12 months is basically when most newbies give up because they don't turn into monsters in less than a year so you've got the biggest hurdle coming

What's the consensus on two workout sessions per day?
One in the morning, one in the evening.

For this to work you must not have a normal job/life.

You have to be able to sleep during the day.

You can't wake up, lift in the morning, then goto work all day, then go to the gym again, with zero rest in the middle of the day.

Your following morning session is going to also suffer because you had 2 training sessions the day before without any proper rest in between them.

There are professional olympic lifters that lift 3-5 times PER DAY, but that is their job, they literally lift, then go nap, then wake up, and go lift again, then nap again.


As a normie with responsibilities during the day (regardless of whether you work a white collar job) will impact drastically on your ability to make 2 workout sessions worth doing.

How the hell do I get enough protein?
I have to drink like 5 scoops of protein powder or 5 pounds of peanut butter to get the 160 G of protein I am recommended and I am getting sick of the stuff.

You can use protein powder in other ways to make it easier like mixing into oats or yogurt with some fruit.

Maybe try and get a better tasting protein there's some gross ones out there but some are delicious.

Purely curious, I use free weights. Interested to hear thoughts on this.

What would produce superior results: an ALL machine workout or a pure calisthenics workout?

Just speculating but I would expect that you would need to find a way to add weight. Just doing more reps increases endurance muscle, which wouldn't get you any size or necessarily more strength after a certain point.

I've been going to sleep at 3-4am lately and waking up around 12-1pm. I'm sick of this schedule and want to fix it since morning is my favorite part of day. Should I stay awake till around 6pm then go to sleep and wake up at around 6am-8am ( I assume i'll sleep atleast 12 hours ) . How detrimental would this be to my health(assuming i'm gonna be fueled by caffeine? Would I be able to do my workout as planned? I've done stuff like this before but I was not very health conscious then. I remember sleeping for like 20 hours one time I really hope that doesn't happen
