Hello people,

I started the gym Saturday September 9th and have, woken up at either 5:20 or 6:20 every day since.

My first week of the gym (last week bar yesterday and today bc rest days) i've been waking up covered in sweat at either 5:20 or 6:20

I work 9 - 6 come home and cook and eat my dinner and grab a cup of coffee get into the gym for 8/8:30 and home for 9:30

I usually am in bed asleep for 10:30 or 11:30 and fall asleep pretty quick.

Any ideas why I am waking up early?

It might be stress related, you might be working out to hard, you might be eating to little. IF you are getting 7 hours that its good and reason to stress about that.

I do maybe 10 reps of what ever excersise im doing and usually dont feel too tired going home from the gym (except leg day) I was inactive for basically 5 years of a neet lifestlye before starting tho.

My brother started the gym when he was 16 and hes now 21 he's been my guide so far and makes sure i do enough/ not too much.

I was thinking maybe smth to do with endorphens or somthing? I cant really find much on the internet

What would someone who actually takes their lifting really seriously do differently compared to someone who just kind of fucks around in the gym?

Honestly it depends what you're lifting for.

Aesthetics: actual bodybuilding routines and GEAR. The average retard just messing around in the gym is doing halfassed bodybuilding routines from Men's Health without taking the gear that makes it work.

Strength: actually focus on the compound lifts, actually do all of them reliably, actually focus on putting weight on the bar. That should be the main thing you even do in the gym.

The main difference between normal retards and people who get somewhere is that the people who get somewhere know what they are even trying to do.

Guys, what the FUCK can I eat when living alone that is healthy and won't make me fat and is cheap?

Nuts, peanut butter, cheese, milk. That's all I can think of but I get sick of it easily. Then I eat junk food or fast food and soon I need to call my parents for more money.

Apart from those my diet consists of supermarket sandwiches and precooked pasta.

I don't want to spend lots of time cooking.

You can literally cook up chicken breasts + some kind of vegetable in 10 minutes. Below is the DEFINITIVE list of beginner /fit/ meals.

Kashi go lean crunch cereal

Eggs + cheese + turkey

Rice + chicken + veggies (or skip rice)

Red beans + rice + sausage

Buy a container of low salted nuts and eat a handful every so often - should last over a week.

The balanced breaks nuts+cheese+raisin packs are pretty great snacks as well.

Kale chips are also a tasty snack.

Chili is easy to make, you can more or less put whatever you want in there and it will turn out fine.

Crockpots are a great investment, you can make all sorts of stuff while you're out and about for the day.

The only thing you should be drinking is water and milk. Alcohol is what kills me, but you have to be careful because that stuff is obviously bad for you.

marinade for an hour/overnight/all day with:

these ingredients should last a while, save for the chicken, pasta, and garlic. this is a less than 10 dollar dinner. that's much cheaper than take out.

It just makes it easier. Instead of doing a ton of stretches and then doing 3 sets to really get into it, I just do like 3 stretches and two warmup sets. That way by my second working set I'm fully going and able to smash out the rest of the sets quickly,

To lose weight, would I be better off cutting out meat or high-glycemic foods and carbs/starches? I really don't want to cut out carbs because they're so easy to get in abundance, and cheap too. Eating healthy is so fucking expensive.

Both approaches work. Simple calorie restriction works too. Try them out and see what works well for you. We are quite different individuals, from a physiological point of view. It's called 'STRETCHING', it takes a fraction of the time, and doesn't involve any goofy woo-woo pseudo-spiritual bullshit like yoga does -- and best of all you can do it for FREE, anywhere you like, without an 'instructor' to 'lead' you. lads, this part of my wrist keeps getting sore (not that painful but probably not a good start). should i suspend lifting or is it just them building strength or whatever? i keep wrist straight as possible and even use wrist wraps
