Intermittent Fasting. It's where you don't eat for a certain number of hours per day. Some fitness people like it. If you have breakfast at 7:30 and dinner at 5:30, you automatically have 14 hours of not eating without doing anything special.

I've started biking between 15-20 miles three times a week, and was curious how many calories I'm burning each time. The first website I found says this.

>A 200 lb person biking at a normal speed of 14mph will burn 64 calories per mile, if they sped up to 20 mph this would increase to 75 calories per mile.

I just finished a 21 mile bike ride in a bit over an hour and a half, and I have a hard time believing I somehow burned over a thousand calories doing it, compared to a three mile run which would normally leave me feeling destroyed at the end and only (supposedly) having burned a few hundred. Am I right in thinking this information is complete bs?

Cycling is very dependant on pace... 14 MPh average is a pretty good pace on a mtb.

And I can confirm regular cycling will burn mass. I used to ride everyday 3 miles and about 20 on weekends, and lost about 20 lbs in process

Can somebody here give me a shortened version of what German Volume training is?

Supposedly the huge german bodybuilders like Arnold, Moeller, Gunter, etc... all trained with this.

otherwise you would be doing 600 reps per workout which is absurd and would take hours

I got problems /fit/. Sitting on the toilet too long gave me hemorrhoids, and just a little while later I get an outbreak of jock itch on my cheeks. I got a plan in place to eat more fiber, get a stool to make the squatting position, stay clean and dry down there, and spending less time taking a dump. Anyone got any other tips to cure these faster?
