Drink your calories. Shakes, smoothies, etc.

Hey, I was wondering what would be better for building faster. Dorian Yates routine or PPL.
Dorian Yates routine and philosophy is that you only do 1-2 sets on each exercising, ending with the last one with failure. Each day (4/7) has about 6 exercises
Would a normal PPL split with more volume be better at gaining muscle mass? Given that you could workout more often? Also implying that the routine would just follow normal 4x10 compound movements to machines or whatever

in short, lift intensely, lift often, but don't go too often for extra high volume like you would on a bodybuilding split.
How do you prevent/minimize loose neck skin?
This is probably the most horrific feature that comes with age.
Obviously if you are fat you're fucked.
I currently include my neck in my skincare routine, meaning it gets retinoid, vitamin C, moisturizer and sunscreen.
