Every night I wake up in my sleep every 45 minutes. I turn over and fall back asleep, then another 45 minutes I wake up again. I wake up 6 to 8 times.

How can I get a deeper sleep, without having to use an addictive drug that just knocks me out? I want deep, restorative, quality sleep for 6-9 hours.

I'm purchasing a new bike since my old one got stolen. I've leaning towards a mountain bike or hybrid bike. I live in the city, but I also time from time go on uneven roads.

Can anyone with hybrid bikes tell me if they're worth buying? Money isn't as big an issue as performance. I like mountain bikes for durability and stability, but I won't lie that riding on really long roads can be a bit of a drag (also I guess it means more gains?).

Is cutting at 1600 calories too much for someone whose 5'9 154 @ ~17% bf? My tdee is apparently 2500.

Best advice for my body type? Read the sticky and looking into gym membership. Started cardio and trying to adjust diet but i'm bad at this sort of thing so suggestions are appreciated.

How do I into cutting? 20% (5'11", 180 lbs) body fat guy trying to get down to 10%. I'm trying to lose fat without losing gains, but I worry that the 1.5+ grams of protein per pound idea will mess up my calorie deficit

Alright, but how does one lessen the impact? Must I eat said 1.5+ grams of protein? Because 270 grams seems a bit much for a cutting phase. Forgot to mention that I'm trying to do this over a 3-4 month period

Be mature about it and have a talk with her. Tell her how you've been feeling. You are still in love with her but you have become less attracted to her body type. Don;t blame her and put her down. Offer to help her. I've had to do this with my girl and im helping her lose weight now. I make her tell me everything she has eaten and i calculate the cals of it. Shes extremely happy taht im helping her.

If your girl doesnt want to do this, then you gotta lay it all down. Tell her that maybe you two aren't meant to be. Start being more distant. Going out without her more. She will either get the message or you will have to suck it up and leave. Just make sure that you arent falling for "the grass is always greener". Last thing you want to do is leave thinking youre gonna get all this fresh puss, but then youre alone and miserable.

Hey /fit/,

I went to the doctor last week and he recommended I do a ketogenic diet for weight loss. Does anyone have any good food or ingredient suggestions as I'm going to go shopping soon.

Recipe suggestions are welcome also, so far I've got Bacon, Steak, Brocolli, Cheese and Eggs.
