honestly, I don't. I always automatically view manlets as inferior to me. I know that some of them are better than me blah blah blah, but I just can't help it. I can't take short guys seriously
>do you respect a myriad of renowed scientists of who have helped better and save the lives of virtually everyone i know??

I am the only guy at the gym whose shirt is completely wet(front and back) and people sometimes stare at me. Especialy the guys that workout but are still small. Does this disgust you? Also i don't smell because I use rollon.
>>42424766
Not much you can do. A derm can get you anhydrous alcohol for your pits but it's a bad idea to put it all over your body since you need to sweat.
I used to wear white shirts that hide sweat but I honestly don't care anymore.
I sweat a lot because my body is adapted to playing rugby in Texas heat. Anyone with a lot of muscle will tend to get hot faster. You are sweating in a place designed for sweat. Don't worry about it.
>he doesn't switch between 5 shirts every 30 min.
Well started doing cardio before lifting and after so I am super sweaty.
Reminder that lifting heavy is unsustainable
Most people on this site are in their early twenties so think they are invincible.
>>42424706
>ifting heavy is unsustainable
There's a difference between lifting heavy and being a powerlifter.
For once you aren't come near the weight this guy was putting on his spine everytime he squated no matter how hard you tried.
Lifting moderatly heavy weights are fine aslong as you use good form.
>>42424984
You also don't have the muscleture to support your spine as well as they do.
Lifting heavy is pants on head retarded if your goal is aesthetics or health.
If you're performance driven you can sacrifice some health for it, but make no mistake that this is what you're doing.

Correction: age 27 getting big naturally v age 60 just using jooce
Give me an unusual reason you lift
> tfw I have big hands and I have to compensate by having big arms/forearms
> such is the life of an aesthetic lifter
>>42424512
I keep fit for good mental wellbeing first, physical benefit second. Is this unusual?

For myself, not for getting laid

I am buying pic related in a few hours. What am I getting myself into /run/?

What are you talking about? I generally run in asics, they're fine shoes but like any running shoe they break down after not too long. I personally go more for the GT-2000 but if its the shoe for you, what's the problem?
I got a pair of Ultra Boost's on my birthday, feels a bit odd desu. Need to get used to them I guess

I bought the 20 dollar walmart clone of those for shits and giggles.
They hold up fine to 10 mile a week +.
Looking for tips to grow muscle whilst losing fat. Remaining natty till 12% body fat and above 80kg. Looking to do this by the end of the year. Currently weigh 88kg and 16.5% body fat. Will this be possible whilst remaining natty? Pic related is me
>>42424364
>grow muscle whilst losing fat.
Doing this is really annoying to do and takes forever. Just cut to your target weight while maintaining your lifts and then bulk.
>>42424364
Eat at a very slight deficit and lift heavy. You'll recomp
>>42424430
No, this is a meme
>>42424436
Do this, but I don't lift heavy, I lift like min 4 sets, 15 reps on every lift
eat calorie deficit while keeping a high protein diet/your protein macros
No reason to ever get fat while bodybuilding
He's actually fucking doing it
So he's been a useless cunt for the last 10 years, and for the first time in his life he's actually looking decent, what do you think changed guys? I'm pretty excited to see how conditioned he can get before the show
>>42424330
He's really doing it this time guys! He's about to turn IFBB pro!
>>42424330
Who?

This is going to sound absolutely retarded, but how the fuck do I use these?
At home I usually blend my protein in the blender, into like a smoothie or some shit.
What do people do with these at the gym? Are they literally just putting in two scoops and mixing it with water from the tap? Is it some kind of hellish water milkshake?
the ball helps break shit up and mix it so its like a handheld blender
>>42424307
>Are they literally just putting in two scoops and mixing it with water from the tap? Is it some kind of hellish water milkshake?
Yes.

overhand vs mixed doesnt matter when youre using straps
Have put on heaps of muscle but also gained a little fat. Best way to lose fat without losing muscle?
>>42423659
1000 calorie deficit, high protein, keep training volume and weights as close to what they are now as you can
take a 2 week period at maintenance calories every 8-12 weeks
>>42423659
Cut carbs and up fat to cover the loss.
>>42423659
>a little fat
Mate you need to lose to lose at least 30 lbs.
Who else here natty but still some how addicted to lifting despite the minimal gains that are possible natty?
yes
I'm 3-4 months into my 6th year lifting.
I'm holding onto this dream that maybe one day the stars will align and I'll eventually figure out how to do everything so perfectly both training and diet wise that I end up actually achieving something that stands out even for a natty body.
Right now I'm trying something new with my training that I've never done before (and I've tried almost everything). I've always stuck to the same dogmatic rules of a routine, whether it be full body, upper/lower, or bro split.
For the first time I'm testing out slowly increasing MRV (max recoverable volume) using Dr Mike Israetel's information. I've never actually trained using "training blocks" with increasing volume over-time, and then decreasing, I've always done the same volume regardless of the routine, but just increased weight.
I'm hoping taking my weekly sets per muscle group from 10, to 12, to 14, to 16, to 18, to 20 and then deloading back on 10 sets for a few weeks before going back into the cycle again up to 20 sets.
My body has never experience doing this MRV style of training so we'll see how it responds.
natty means no protein powder?
why would you do this?
>lifting will fix all of your problems
Who told you it would?
>>42422933
OP the person in your pic has major problems, the irony is that they can understand MMORPGS which require some form of social cooperation to succeed and then they go on to say they have "zero social skills", like it or not, you can not solo world of warcraft its just not possible(except for like 0.01% of players multi boxing). The person must be a low IQ monkey because they can't perform the basic pattern matching to translate learn-able skills through all aspects of their life.
The person is lifting for what I would personally say is the wrong reason. They are doing it and enjoying the exercise(dopamine/endorphins or whatever).
Lifting CAN fix life problems, particularly if some is lacking in discipline as for most natural body builders you will only see significant gains through discipline. Discipline will translate to all other facets in your life. In this age of decadence discipline is a rare thing and so it is completely overlooked by some.
>>42422933
Most people don't have major personality disorders so that's just a shitty hand he's been dealt. However a lot of /fit/ posters have some truly cringe inducing autismo stories. They think getting /fit/ will change that, it won't. You'll just be a an in shape weirdo. If you can't properly socialize where you are now lifting will not fix that.

>tfw you will never get paid 100k a year to eat food in your car
If anyone remembers the hodgetwins from back in 2012/2013 they literally use to eat 1,800 calories a day to stay lean.
Now-days they're still lean, but they're eating all this shit all the time now, what did they even do?
There's no way they're eating all the crap they do AND still hitting protein needs, and still staying lean.
Makes no sense (unless of course they were bullshitting about being on 1,800 calories/day all those years ago) They were still big back then as well, so it's not like they have massive size or something.
