next week I'm moving somewhere right next to a farmers market. it'd be real cool if I could just walk there and get ALL of my groceries, so I had some questions:

>1. are farmers market noticeably cheaper / more expensive than random grocery stores?
>2. is there usually meat? or just fruits and veggies?
>3. can I live a healthy life just on farmers market foods? I'm not muscular but I'm not fat, and I just wanna stay normal looking / eat healthier
>4. what can I get at farmers markets that I can actually make a full decent hot meal out of?

obv I can make SOME exceptions, but I def want to try to keep grocery store to at most once a month.

Disagree on 2. Market near me has a rancher who brings freshly slaughtered (and then vacuum sealed) beef, chicken, and pork cuts every week. She throws any unsold cuts into a deep freezer and returns next week with a cooler, so you can get pre-frozen cuts or fresh stuff (literally slaughtered that morning in some cases.)

OP. You can get and make almost anything you want at a farmers market, you will have to change your meals with what's in season near you. Just go walk around and talk to farmers dude. You're putting too much thought into this.

If you are not drinking coca cola or monster energy while listening to music you are doing it wrong. I actually feel my mind is on a hypedrive when I drink these instead of just water. Maybe glucose isn't that bad for the brain after all?:) Don't partake in this sodas are bad bullshit. I felt lethargic eat some honey and I feel instantly better, energetic and able to concentrate and not just sleep.

What does /fit/ think about sumo wrestling?
Are sumo wrestlers healthy or are they still fat fucks? I watched sumo wrestling on TV yesterday and they seemed amazingly strong and flexible for people at that weight.
Would a bodybuilder or strongman be able to take on a sumo wrestler in the ring given they knew the techniques even if they weren't as heavy?

0) Why swim?

Unlike running, swimming is zero impact, and so easier on your joints.
It is one of the quickest ways to burn calories, having a higher caloric burn rate than running or cycling.
It is also a full body exercise, using legs and arms for propulsion and a tight core to keep you moving.
Excellent for cardiovascular health.

1) I don't know how to swim; how do I get started?

If there's a pool near you with swim lanes (T-shaped lines at the bottom of the pool) there are swim lessons available, and likely a club... virtually any pool like the one described will offer lessons as a way to offset costs, including adult lessons. For training purposes, you should take lessons until you've mastered the 4 main strokes: freestyle, breast, back, and butterfly.

In general, learning to breathe in rhythm with your stroke is the hardest skill to learn... it just takes practice.

So I've been cutting for like 10 weeks now. I'm down from 217 to 209lbs and for 2 weeks I've been stagnant. I'm already in a 1000 calorie deficit as of 3 weeks and I'm already doing HIIT twice a week. Probably sitting at around 12% bf. Do I just keep dropping calories? I haven't lost much size, I still have energy in the gym, and my strength seems to be at maintanice. How far of a calorie deficit is too much? Please just help me I want to get under 10% but this shit is so hard and I'm getting tired of looking the same and remaining the same weight. I'm already doing refeeds every week

Yes. Your "1000 calorie deficit" is based of of one calculator online. Those calculators are for giving you a guideline to work with. It might say your TDEE is 2300. Your actual TDEE could easily be 2500, or 2000. It's an estimation. If the scale says you're not losing weight then you need to lower the calories

Id say eat at maintenance for a week let your body reset completely. Then ease back into a deficit. If youve been dieting a while youre likely at the point where as your losing fat your holding water. When you go back to maintenance i wouldnt be surprised if you drop a few pounds.

How do I reach this appearance?I was in ok shape last year and I was into sports but events has led me to quit my job and I spent almost 9 months just sitting in front of a computer.

Now I'm getting chubby and my tits are big as well.. What to do best to lose belly fat and titties? I eat 3 eggs + veggies for breakfast everyday, 1 kitkat bar, lots of coffee and tea, home cooked meal for dinner.

I'm about 160 burgerpounds and read somewhere that an adult male completely untrained should be able to bench 80.

Today I benched 55 and needed help from my PT at 60...

Is working out even worth it, or am I just genetically fucked? My body's not bad and I'm actually pretty slim (6'1/160), but I'm doing BJJ and my coach said I need to greatly improve my upper body strength if I want to get out of perpetual white belt status.

You can get that up in no time. I'm 140lbs and started out benching like 55lbs, now a few months later I can do 10 reps with 125lbs.

Be consistent, disciplined, patient and don't give up no matter how badly you think you're doing, and you'll make it brah.

I am 5'11 220lb endomorph. I work out 7 days a week lifting and cardio 2-3 hours a day because I have no life. My diet is in check and I still look perpetually out of shape but muscular. Should I just say fuck it, bulk heavy and embrace my destiny as a bear? Also, any tips for endomorphs or going full bear mode?

Try lessening your training frequency. Do more high intensity cardio sessions vs just long sessions. Your body isn't getting shredded cause it's in lumberjack mode from all the shit you're doing. Take it down to 4-6 days a week, and 45 minutes of high intensity cardio every other day. Basically lower the frequency of training, but up the intensity.

100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and run 10 km every day for 3 years or
Squatting,lifting and carrying a calf everyday,growing to be a bull in 4 years of training.

So, /fit/ the 28/5 i started my wight-loss. My bf% was at 24,41 at the time and by the 13/7 i was down at 21.
Then two weeks ago i injured my left shoulder so I couldn't workout and today when I measured I got a bf% of 24 again. I didn't really change my diet. My weight has been around 176.36 pounds and I,m 5'8.3"
Is this just water or is my body this worthless?
Should I just neck myself?
