Holidays are over and I want to start exercising. Not much, but enough to stay in shape and get defined. I don't plan on going to the gym, dont ask why it's just not an option, and so my house is going to be my gym.
I was thinking about using the Seven app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.perigee.android.seven&hl=en) and doing 1 or 2 workouts per day.
Is that good or should I do anything else?
Also, I want to start an healthy eating. Any tips? I usually need to eat my breakfast fast and I'm quite slow at it so I just it cereals. Is that ok?

it can be, i have one, alternate X minute rounds of mixing jab/cross/jab/hook etc, then rounds of jumprope or running. and integrate speed bag if you have access to one. be careful if you haven't ever been trained on how to throw a punch and/or don't know how to wrap your hands.. gloves alone leave you vulnerable to lots of injuries. plenty of wrist wrapping videos on youtube if you're just starting out

Thanks anon. I used to have one when I was growing up. I never used wraps, just heavy bag gloves. I also want to increase my punching power as well as overall fat burning. I am mainly a hypertrophy lifter.

Serious question, only myself and like 2 others out of maybe 150 people at my gym work legs. Why do so many young people say they have bad knees so they cant squat? Is this like a meme type reaction they say to get out of it so they dont have to hear anything about them not working legs, as if they dont actually have bad knees but just say it?
What constitutes having "bad knees" in the first place? I have patella femoral syndrome but you can still squat like normal.

Can you guys give me a hand with developing a solid diet? I know there's plenty of info on the matter in the sticky, I've read it several times. Just looking for more perspectives on the matter.
For the past several months, I've been mostly concerned with calories and not eating garbage, as I'm a recovering fatty. I'm a male, 5'11". Started at 350lbs, currently 250lbs.
Dropped the first 100lbs quick eating 1200-1500 calories per day and some exercise. Now that I'm at a more manageable weight, I'm looking to slow the weight loss down and lose the last 75lbs with the a sustainable eating pattern, proper lifting routine and regular cardio, with the intent of actually being fit when I hit my goal.
My macros as of now are approximately 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein. My current staple foods are protein bars (quick and easy on-the-go breakfast, more filling than a shake, and goes well with my coffee), greek yogurt, bran cereal, nuts, broccoli, lentils, sweet potatoes, chicken breast, steak, and fish.
My questions are:
How is my macro ratio? Should I keep it the same, just eat more of everything (1800-2000 cal?)?
Any staples I should add/remove?
