Hey bros, I'm about to start my first ever cut. After being on permabulk my whole life, I finally escaped Auschwitz mode and am now sitting at okay-ish 225 for my 6'8 height. Not ideal but at least people don't make fun of me anymore.
Anyway, the side effect of this is that I developed a bit of a double chin and a belly (thanks genetics). So I'm about to start keto, add more cardio to lifting, and eat 500 cals under maintenance.
My questions:
How do I figure out my daily maintenance? Online calculators suggest it's around 3000 which sounds like bullshit since I remember I had to eat like 4500-5000 cals per day to gain any weight.
And also, your general tips for keto and how not to hate life while on it

I just watched this show on discovery channel called "Darkness". These dudes get stuck in a cave on purpose for 5 days with 0 light visibility. They have some supplies which im sure supplement them well. During the last 2 days or so the guys seemed to be really amped up and high strung. Lots of tension, ya know? Let's talk about ICF, guys. I started doing ICF about 2 months ago and I like it. I've been seeing good strength gains throughout.
I've heard from a few people that ICF will make you not look proportioned and it is easy to get hurt on the program. Sidenote: I haven't gotten hurt on it.
I get people dislike Blaha and that's fine, but this thread isn't about how much for a nut case he is.
What are your thoughts on ICF?
The routine is solid, pretty much all there is to say about it. Better than SS, worse than SS derivatives that have a more reasonable workload

I'm a medium to smallish frame. This is what it looks like fingers over my wrist.
I'm 177cm barefoot and currently am 72kg. Which according to BMI is normal but on the heavier side.
But when I step outside, I look puny and faggy. I'm 40 years old and normal teenagers look bigger than me, let alone adult men.
So should I put on even more weight? It goes straight to my gyno and ass. I wanna fit in size 32 jeans.
