whatup ladies
So your just gonna sit there, going on /fit/. And defend steroid use as completely safe but smoking as a one way ticket to lung cancer
yes
>>42384836
So youre just sitting there, admitting that steroids side effects can be reversed if the person stops taking it. And you admit the same happens with smoking.
yes
no
story time, it's been a while since i've been to these parts, I think I stopped lurking around the time zyzz died (zyzz day is in 2 days btw)
>be me
>15 yo skinny fag 140 pounds 5'11"
>rs daily
>browse /b/ daily while slaying
>eventually see zyzz meme, think holy fuck this dude is jacked
>become /fit/ daily lurker, eventually poster
>start lifting, small definition gains but very little actual progress
>flash forward a year
>start starting strength and GOMAD, senior year of highschool, fuck do i care if it's a meme
>gain 20 pounds, add about the same to all lifts within a semester
>get to college, continue seeing gains, people notice
>fast forward to in college, at 185 and feeling amazing
This place actually made a big impact on my body, which made a big impact on my confidence, and overall happiness. For that, thank you.
We're all gonna make it brahs. Gonna post some Zyzz for the upcoming holiday.
Oh, also I picked up runescape again because I'm bored as hell this summer with no classes

You're just outside the entrance to your regular gym with your bag, water and towel in tow. The air outside is crisp and slightly cool. What do you do?
1. Walk in and tip the receptionist
2. Get a coffee from the café next door
3. Wait for the receptionist to look away from the door to avoid human contact
4. Go home
Post ending in 0 decides...
>>42384432
>1. Walk in and tip the receptionist
lets go
tip at least 20%
>>42384432
#1, $5 tip, I wink with both eyes and tell her to keep the change
Any anons here ever do the 10k calorie challenge? Normies think 10k is a lot but imo I could put that away easy.
If I was gonna do it I would probably fast the day before and after the challenge and then be in a deficit for the rest of the week.
Thoughts?
daileeeeee 10k
holocaust mode now lmao
I don't see why you would want to do this challenge, only reason that I think would be if you were a top-level athlete who's doing the tour de France or some shit
>>42384424
It would be bretty fun to do with a few buddies after a long cut
IT TOOK SCIENCE TO PROVE THE OBVIOUS
https://www.theguardian.com/society/2017/may/17/obesity-health-no-such-thing-as-fat-but-fit-major-study?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Copy_to_clipboard
>People who are obese run an increased risk of heart failure and stroke even if they appear healthy, without the obvious warning signs such as high blood pressure or diabetes, according to a major new study.
>The findings, presented at the European Congress on Obesity in Porto, Portugal, may be the final death knell for the claim that it is possible to be obese but still metabolically healthy – or “fat but fit” – say scientists.
>Several studies in the past have suggested that the idea of “metabolically healthy” obese individuals is an illusion, but they have been smaller than this one. The new study, from the University of Birmingham, involved 3.5 million people, approximately 61,000 of whom developed coronary heart disease.
>The study found that those obese individuals who appeared healthy in fact had a 50% higher risk of coronary heart disease than people who were of normal weight. They had a 7% increased risk of cerebrovascular disease – problems affecting the blood supply to the brain – which can cause a stroke, and double the risk of heart failure.
Does this study official BTFO of HAES and Fat Acceptance?
It wouldn't have mattered either way. Yes, there are fat people who do not have diabetes or heart problems, but it's just a matter of time. It's like saying smoking is healthy because not all smokers have COPD
>>42384355
>IT TOOK SCIENCE TO PROVE THE OBVIOUS
Realistically, that's how clinical science works. It proves commonly held assumptions. It still means something, being backed by a peer reviewed study is a bit more serious than just backed by anecdotal observations.
Science in practice is kinda boring.
I'm currently cutting in hopes to lose some bodyfat but I don't own a scale. Are there any public places that have scales? I ordered a scale on amazon but that wont come for a while and I'm curious to see if my weight reflects my caloric deficit.
You could try at a butcher shop
>>42384346
Every library in America has a scale.
>>42384360
I'd have to ask and I'm too awkward.
>>42384361
That doesent seem believable
I tried some stores aswell but none have scales on display.
Please note that I endorse T H I C C girls 100%. A fit girl with a fat ass is optimal for glory. A girl who doesn't squat regularly in the Temple of Iron is equally blasphemous as a guy who doesn't even emphasise the necessity of retaking Constantinople.
Alright /fit Got in a motorcycle accident three months ago. Got ran off the road by truck and hit a barrier at 70mph. Bike stopped, I flew 50 feet, and barrier didn't move a hair. My pelvis was shattered and I had an open fracture on my right arm. I was 198lbs at the time. After three months in bed/wheelchair I'm down to 147lbs. Doctor said that today I'm cleared to start walking and going to the gym. (I started last week, don't tell) how much do you guys think muscle memory will come in to play? Lol
This was what I was at prior to wreck. 198lbs
My pelvis lol
>>42383884
good luck bro
afaik, muscle memory is not a meme
I just rejoined humanity after losing like 200 lbs. I still have to lose like 10 or so pounds before I maintain/bulk but i already find large shirts are getting baggy around my waist. (6'1 190).
my shoulders and chest are very broad but my waist measures 34 inches, and i wear size 32 jeans, medium shorts and sweatpants. do any of you guys my size (or slightly smaller) wear medium shirts?
also clothes fitting/fashion whatever general i guess
>>42383856
5'10 190lbs around 11%bf.
If i wear a medium shirt, it is tight around pecs, top of my back and arms but still wearable. However, I generally wear large t shirts because baggier clothes are more comfortable. My wardrobe is evenly split between large and medium.
congrats, you're an Xtra medium build.
>>42383856
Holy shit gratz on the weight loss
>>42383891
do you know how big your chest is? i just got mine measured at 44, shoulders 20
>>42383960
thanks, i only mentioned that cause i always wore XL since i was like 8 years old, kind of hard to adjust now
What is a good routine if I'm a neet with 16 hours of free time every day and I'm on gear?
Currently doing a 4-day upper body split (push power, pull power, push volume, pull volume) with some added leg work every day, working out 7 days a week for like 2-3 hours every day
