Any tips on building a minimal wardrobe?
It doesn't have to have a "minimalistic" aesthetic, just has to be practical and good looking. (but that's subjective)
Is 2 jackets, 3 different colored t-shirts, 2 pair of jeans in different cuts, 1 pair of boots and 1 pair of sneakers enough?
(obviously ignoring "special ocassion" items like winter coats, dress shoes and also ignoring things like underwear)

Clear out your previous wardrobe and begin buying good quality basics , no that many clothes isn't enough if you go out a lot, I'm in the process of doing this and trust me it's nice seeing some colour in my wardrobe (previously only wore black and white)

do you live somewhere without seasons?
I'm doing the minimal thing too, but I have to deal with a fuckload of microclimates, summers and winters, dry and wet, so it's
>1 jacket, 1 winter coat, 2 sweaters (one light, one chunky)
>5 button ups
>1 jeans (winter weight, will probably switch to more cords tho), 1 cords, 2 linen pants
>leather shoes, sneakers, possibly something suede for the summer but unsure
