because we are currently at peak of an 80s and 90s revival period, and the trashy look has been huge. Bands often have over stylized type, and gothic suits that. Kanye of course broke down the flood gates with his Pablo merch, and Justin Bieber followed suit with the promise tour merchandise.

It'll be gone by next winter. Actually, this is going to be a fun summer. I think Yellow is going to be a huge color.

Chrome hearts maybe kinda started it. And Prayers bringing "cholo goth" into the mainstream a few years ago at the very least put the imagery back into people's consciousness. Kanye lives in LA now and you can buy gang-ish apparel pretty much everywhere, with the religious and gothic symbolism pretty much everywhere.

Cali Dewitt first sold the designs to Kanye, which he appropriated from '80s East LA culture yes. Similar shirts have been sold at liquor stores around here since I can remember..
